Steve and Caro are charming and we loved the three friendly dogs. Our room (room 2) was quirkily decorated but very small and dark, which caused a bit of an attack of claustrophobia for both of us in the middle of the first night. We looked longingly at Room 1, which was bigger, had a sofa and a couple more windows - had we known, we would have booked it. The bathroom is dark and tiny too (fortunately this is not a place where anyone notices whether you're wearing make up or not) and we just felt we're a bit too old (or boring) for a curtain rather than a bathroom door but that's just us. This said, the breakfast pancakes were certainly the best I'd ever eaten and Steve's assured, grown up cooking is fantastically tasty and good value (the Turkish style kebabs with couscous and the almond and apricot tart were two highlights). Take a few bottles of wine and chill out, enjoy the pool and the view. The N7 can be a bit noisy at times but it's a place with its own off beat charm.
