Let me start with the good things:
My room was a large king suite, with a comfortable bed, large 42 inch tv, a kitchenette, a fridge and a large bathroom. It was clean and in good condition. The golf courses seem very good as some other guests told me. The pool is small but seemed fine.
Now for the not so good:
The free wifi in the room is a joke, it's too slow even for light browsing, I had to use my cell phone to get any work done. I even had a wifi router inside my room (that´s not a good thing, it shows an amateur setup).
The bathroom includes a whirlpool which is nice but you cannot fill it even to the middle with hot water since it runs out very quickly.
The "business center" is a 4x4 minuscule room with one computer, a printer with no paper, the same terrible internet connection and a constant reminder that Microsoft Office has not been activated!! Moreover, this computer does not delete user files after each use as in most hotels, so you can see every document past users edited and expose yourself to malware and viruses.
The supplies of the shower (shampoo, soap, etc.) were replaced exactly once during my five nights stay at the hotel.
I left a breakfast request at the door knob that was never fulfilled, never tried again.
Overall it seems this place has a nice infrastructure, but fails terribly when it comes to services. I got a good deal through Priceline, but if I had to pay the full retail price published on the web site I would be extremely mad. For business travelers there are dozens of places that offer better services at lower prices in Miami.
So, unless you are a golf fanatic, I see no valid argument to choose this property. If you are a business traveler don't even think about staying here.
