Just returned from a one night stay at The Flower Pot. The ambience and decor were lovely, we particularly liked the very friendly atmosphere in the bar in the evening. The staff really made our stay memorable! The room was very nicely decorated, lovely and warm (we stayed in November)and the bed was extremely comfortable. Well designed bathroom and all was immaculately clean. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were superb. If you are needing somewhere a little bit different to stay in this area then this is the place!

Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend having wanted a change from the corporate chains of hotels and I'm so glad I did. The pub has been recently refurbished and clearly done to a high standard. Our bedroom was very tastefully decorated and furnished and extremely comfortable. All the staff we came across were very friendly and attentive and made us feel really welcome. We dined there on the first night and had one of the best pizzas ever. Breakfast was equally good, all freshly cooked and with plenty of choice.
If you're looking for good quality accomodation with character then this is it.

Newley decorated, the whole experience was very enjoyable. The rooms were really well put togther, lovely colors and furniture. and so was the pub downstairs. Real nexpresson machine in the room.
Nice choice of breakfast in the morning and the staff were very attentive.
We loved it so muhc we stayed for lunch - the roast is worth trying.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Flower Pot. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely clean. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the staff are also very attentive. Endless coffee and OJ in the morning, together with a big cooked breakfast, was a very nice way to end the stay.
