“Perfect place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Quiet, Clean, Comfortable, newly renovated and all in the shadow of a historian old house.
Breakfast buffet is served on classy german white dish, but is domestic choice only.

Recommendation: Stop for some hours in Qom, stay at least two days in Kashan!

Room Tip: Room 6 is nice

Our stay here was so pleasant that we decided to come back to Kashan for one more night after we went on a small tour in the country. The beds are very comfortable, with high quality sheets you don't find often in Iran. The decor minimalist but with taste. It is quiet and quite personal.

The service is great (we asked for a bus to Yazd and the receptionist did everything within an hour to find us a bus and arrange for us to catch it on the highway). The receptionists are discrete and friendly. If you arrive with an Iranian friend and you are a foreigner, don't expect them to address you - which is not very polite, but unfortunately standard practice in Iran.

The restaurant is excellent, one of the best we tried in Iran for lunch and dinner. The menu is limited, but changes every few days. The food is fresh and of great quality. The breakfast is also great: with copious bread, fresh melon juice, an assortment of jams, honey, dates, and halva, tomato, cucumber, cheese, eggs, and fresh fruit.

We also watched a movie in their movie theatre that you can use as your private screening room (you can bring your own movies or choose from their Iranian films - but beware that few are subtitled).

The hotel boutique has very nice products, but they are overpriced. We found some of the same exact things for cheaper in stores in Tehran.

One down-side, which is a problem for all public or semi-public spaces in Iran, is that they have music playing in the courtyard all day. So, it is not a place you will have full peace and quiet if you decide to take a nap. Also, there is an electrical generator which switches on and off 24h a day - they should find a solution for that, so that one can really hear the water of the fountain instead of a motor running.

Room Tip: We stayed 2 different nights: in room 1 and room 7. Room 7 is nearby the reception, so you hear peop...

My wife and I spent with this wonderful hotel 2 nights. It is a remarkable place which is organized in a very professional and friendly way. Besides the fact that this is a wonderful building, one of the biggest assets of this location are the employees. A must if you are planning to visit the area of Kshan, a wonderful place with many inks to see and wonderful people who are open to receive you.

We booked this hotel based on tripadvisor review and we were very happy. This hotel surprise you with service and food. There is a big house with 8 rooms and a big pool in the middle. There are some beds in the garden and in the afternoon you can go and sit in the bed. The people who worked there are all helpful and clean. once we sat in the garden one of them offer us some nuts.
Breakfast is perfect with fresh juice and delicious home made jam. Also you can try local food in hotel which is much better than any restaurant in city. We asked from reception for a tour guid and she introduce us mr Abas Ghamkhar, he was very good.

We instantly fell in love with Manouchehri House and decided to extend our stay by another day. It's a peaceful, intimate and charming place, a traditional Kashan house that has been restored with much love and attention to detail. The restaurant serves delicious Iranian dishes for breakfast and dinner and service is very friendly and prompt. The rooms are beautifully furnished, and of course clean and air conditioned. We loved the in-house textile weavery workshop, where you can watch local textile weavers at work and have their craft explained to you. This house is truly committed to keeping local history and culture alive and we highly recommend it.

Room Tip: When booking your room, you'll be made aware that some rooms are accessed over a few steep steps...

We were here at the end of June 2013. Hotel original, friendly.

Rooms are locally decorated and clean.
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.
We should thank Mrs. Manoochehry for her efforts for having rearrange this nice old building and for having transformed it to a nice and pleasant place to stay. I certainly recommend it to all others who would like to visit Kashan.
