“hospitality at its best”

Mohan's retreat is very misleading when you get down, but as you enter the place you are amazed in the way it has been done. a beautiful sun bathed flat portico, with open air sitting and a hexagonal resturant. the rooms are clean, spacious . the hot water is 24 hours and it is piping hot. a luxury in the cold of dec. the food - try the pizza, believe me you will forget domino's.the staff are extremely helpful and cheerful. the view from the rooms are breathtaking. my dog a full grown labrador, equally enjoyed the 2 days we were there. keep it up Mohan !!!

The resort is international in style with all amenities , right from restaurant , commodities , sun bathing , yoga , music , bonfire sometimes , luxurious rooms and stay of modern comfort. The food is hygienic n delicious made of original recipes. Menu has a good variety including Foreign and Indian. Location is in lap of nature showing best mountain view and tranquility. Can be an ideal destination to spend time with family. The owner is a true entrepreneur with great concern for his clients. Staff service is also good but needs follow up. Experience to create memories.

Room Tip: Can choose a room on middle terrace floor for all benefits.

I was on my way to MistyMountain, Jhaltola and took an over night stay at Mohan’s Binsar Retreat. At the entrance of this hotel my first impression, is this the place I have booked for my stay? It changes the moment I went inside its premise and completely changed when finally I entered in my room. Room was beautifully designed, nice and cozy. Bed was awesome. It also has its minuses. There is bit dirt in the room. In fact they cleaned it twice for me but still there was little dirt I felt at many places but this is the problem only in summer time.

I reached here in the evening and was very tired so I headed towards its open (garden) restaurant and this is striking point for me. Food here is just awesome and absolutely no complaints. Flavour, taste, quality and quantity everything was just perfect and it sets our mood. After having a nice and sound sleep on its cozy bed, we took our breakfast. Again it was mouth watering treat in the midst of Kumaun hills in the morning. Its owner Mohan is very-very polite and nice guy. I really appreciate his hospitality and recommend others to give him a chance to pamper you while your stay in Kumaun hills.

one can stay anywhere but don't miss eating at mohan's cafe.....the food is literally finger licking....good.....totally to die for ...pasta in red sauce....most of the beverages...mint soda...cinnamon tea....pizza .....french fries everything is made to perfection the sandwiches......they make take good 30 to 40 minutes which is a long wait for sumptous food like that but the wait is definitely the wait......the sitting is aesthetically designed and the hot food served in the chill of the air is so so worth it.....little of good music would add to the charm

Mohan's Binsar is defiantly one of the finest guesthouse\hotels in India. First of all it has a great location with beautiful scenery, and the rooms and restaurants are designed with excellent taste! The owner and staff are kind and thoughtful - they did everything they can to make us feel comfortable and Mohan even took me to the doctor when I was seek!! It is the best place to spent time in when you are on a honey moon (they have amazing suits!!) but the regular rooms are also neat and clean! Also the laundry service is great (comes back clean and very fast), and they have free wifi which is very helpful.
I defiantly recommand this place to everyone who comes to visit in Kassar Devi!

Mohan's Binsar Retreat is a lovely resort owned & manage by a passionate person, Mohan himself.

It is actually an extension to hugely popular Mohan's Cafe which is a good hang out place for foreigners in Binsar.

Rooms are good, clean and nicely done up with a valley view and all the rooms have wifi internet connectivity :)

Service is amazing & very personalized and they serve great variety of international food.

We prefer Indian Food though and stuck to the same during trip.

Mohan spends a lot of time with guests & recommends them tourist spots etc.

Room Tip: The resort has been built in steps - so if have kids or elderly people with you reaching rooms very...
