We stayed there for 10 days last April and I can say that all the people who were with me really enjoyed that hotel a lot. Big but not huge, the hotel is "chic"; marble everywhere and oriental decoration. Rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. Everything you need is provided in a good size bathroom with shower and bath, as soap, shampoo, body cream, shower caps, big towels that are changed everyday. All is very clean !
The restaurants are very good, well organized with instant cooking for some of the hot meal in the main restaurant, a barbecue outside facing the beautiful terrace where guests can take the meal, a Turkish restaurant near the beach, a 'Chinese-Japonese" restaurant in the lobby (+10 euro) and an "a la carte" international one without fees. Breakfast is just amazing !
There are many activities, as tennis, basket ball, all water sports, even a path of 600 meters for your early jogging.
The stone beach has been renew with white sand. This is the biggest change since the first time I was there. Now beach is great with many beach beds. No need to go there in early morning to put your towel on a bed as a "reservation"
Since this season, some of the staff members can speak perfect French, English and Flemish. This is something very unusual in Turkey, even in 5 stars hotels.
The spa is, as in many other 5 stars clean and provides good services.
One thing that is particular to this hotel is the huge and wonderful garden going to the sea. Beach beds are also scattered under the old trees and pines. In the garden, there is also 2 pools and a kiddy club.
Be aware that there are no rooms facing the sea. Some of them have a side sea view (with charge) but in reality, the sea is not easy to see because of the big trees of the garden, except if you are on the 4th and 5th level. The rooms facing the mountains have a nice view to.
I know many 5 stars hotels in this area, but I have to say that my first choice goes to Paloma Renaissance.
