I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel-Gasthof Andreas Hoessl. My room was clean and comfortable. The room came with a small refrigerator and TV. The Hotel has no elevator and my room had no AC. It was cool enough all but one night that the opening the windows worked well. However, being street side, it was a bit noisy, but 60-70% was filtered out when I dropped down the rouladen (the German metal blinds, built into the windows).
The breakfast buffet while physically small, seemed to have a good variety. Items included eggs, yogurt, cereal, sausage, butter, variety of breads, jam, etc. They seemed to do eggs to order as I saw them take fried eggs to the building across the street (also part of the hotel), but can not independently verify as I did the eggs of the day. Depending on the day on the day, eggs included soft-boiled/hard-boiled, fried or scrambled eggs. As another reviewer noted, the boiled eggs (even though their was always a spot for them) were not there every day.
My only complaint with the hotel would be the hotels pay WiFi. The T-Mobile hotspot had package deals 5-35 euro. With the 35 giving you 30 days of internet. I was ok with paying, but had little or no signal in my room.
I ate in the hotel only one meal, but it was very good. I regret not trying the steak as I saw many a happy customer ordering them.
One other item of note, I asked for a non-smoking room, and there was an ashtray in my room when I checked in. However, the room had absolutely NO smell of smoke.
If street noise bothers you, I would ask for a room in the back part of the hotel.
