“Great Food, Great Hosts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2011

Stayed at Pequeno Paraiso for Spring Break. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are fantastic. The mini fridge is well stocked . It is located a little out from Panama City which was a bit of a challenge for us, because we didn't have a car. However our wonderful hosts, Richard and Anita, went above and beyond to help us find transporation. We wanted to go into Panama City, and they arranged for an English speaking cab driver. The driver gave us a wonderful tour and stayed with us as we explored Casco Vieja. Richard escorted us on a fascinating tour of the Imbarra Indians (spg?). He was a knowledgable guide and knew the Indians personally. One night we needed a cab and Richard took us down to the Amador Causeway, waited for us while we ate, and brought us back . We took advantage of the private dining they offer at P.P. and were thrilled with the meal. The chef , their daughter, went out of her way to meet our dietary needs. It was a wonderful stay. If I had to make any suggestions, it would be to have tissues and a bath mat in the room. We would go back in a minute.

Pequeno Paraiso is a beautiful bed & breakfast. The rooms and grounds are kept very clean and well decorated. We have shown people pictures of Pequeno Paraiso and they can not believe what a nice place it is.
The breakfast are probably the best at any b & b in Panama City. We have stayed there twice and will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here twice - on our way to Boquete, and on our way back. Rooms far nicer than any hotel of comparable price - absolutely luxurious. Breakfasts were delicious and elegantly presented. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Place is located a some 10-15KM from Panama City and in a way that is a good thing. Fairly quiet location.

Service was great and breakfast was amazing. Rooms are also great, we had a chance to stay in two of them. Secure location with automatic gates.

Getting there can be hit or miss. Make sure to get 100% accurate directions from the airport because Panama roads practically don't have signs. Especially if you land at night, you must have directions that are guaranteed to get you to this location. Day time is much better but then Panama City traffic is a mess.

Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Bit pricey at about $80 a night.

Pequeno Paraiso more than lives up to its name of 'Little Paradise' - a comfortable room, gourmet breakfast, pool and private patio far removed from the noise and congestion of downtown in a tranquil suburb off the main road. Host Richard is also a knowlegeable tour guide, translator, raconteur and font of local lore - he arranged tours of native villages, archeological and historic sites and bird watching in the rain forest as well as lunch at some the best restaurants in the area.

We stayed 3 times at Pequena Paraiso and recently traveled solo and Rick
picked me up at the Airport took me to the store to get what I needed before
arriving at the gated Very Nice Place called Pequena Paraiso .
Rooms were Big spotless and Comfortable and Clean Bed..crisp linen
Anita and her daughter who is a chef were wonderfull.., they are gourmet cooks.
So breakfast can be delightfull. This time I had to go really early so Anita had
packed a healthy Banana bread yogurt and fruit /juice so I can eat on the way
and She had took me to the Airport herself ..Thank You. Shey Tan Balitan88@gmail.com

Starting with airport pick up, exclusively arranged tours, fabulous breakfasts and specially prepared dinners you just can't beat the Pequeno Paraiso! Richard and Anita dedicated a 110% of their time and efforts to ensure our visit to Panama was unforgettable. It was like a visit to your best friend's place, only better... ALL THINGS WERE POSSIBLE and you don't have to help with the dishes! Seriously, we highly recommend Pequeno Paraiso. We had intended to stay only 3 days at the beginning of our visit and opted to spend another two at the end because of the gracious hospitality and "total care" we experienced! As for B&Bs in Panama City, you can't do better!
