“Very comfortable stay in an apartment style hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Beautiful rooms with fully equipped kitchen. separate bedroom and living room. Very nice decor. Breakfast was also nice. Overall very nice stay. Only discomfort was the small space to move to one side of the bed. Free Wi-fi was also available.
Thanks,
Manisha

Nice and easy. Perfectly located at the door step of the RER station, one stop from Disney and from the TGV. Rooms are small but clean and modern. Efficient and professional staff, happy to help. No hesitation to recommend to any family visiting Disney.

When you spend £60 a night on a "studio apartment" on the outskirts of Paris you will only every expect "alright" at best. However this being France, not deepest darkest Amazonian Rainforest, one would expect a standard.
The Room itself was as pictured, however 4 of the 6 sockets wouldn't work, including the two bedside and table lamps. So we had to charge various devices from 1 socket which was irritating.
The room was in a poor state of general repair, skirting boards off the walls, stains on the sliding door, marks on the chairs etc etc
The Kitchen area of the studio was small, but it had a small dishwasher which was a bonus, but again the electric hob didn't work, and in order to boil the kettle you had to turn the over counter lights on which seemed ridiculous!
The Bathroom (and separate toilet) was small, the glass door on the bath was too short and and didn't seal so water went EVERYWHERE! The hose to the shower head was twisted so it would cut out intermittently, but that was ok if it happened after the shower had been running 5 minutes because the water was cold by then!
Finally, the toilet would flush, and not stop flushing unless the push down button was "jiggled", or failing that having the toilet lid off to fix the silly little plastic thingy!"

When I spoke to the staff about this they were aware of all of this however they couldn't or wouldn't move us to a better room, unless they knew this was good as it gets!

Stayed at the Residhome for 3 nights whilst doing a Disney trip in the Spring. The hotel was really well situated, just a stop from the Park, with the station literally a 100 metres from the front door. Paris and the airports were less than an hour away. Montevrain itself is like a Siberian town - just built for the purpose of servicing Eurodisney. There were other hotels and bars, along with a large shopping centre so easy to find some things to do.
We had a slight problem with our booking, resulting in an hour wait - by way of apology, we were offered free breakfast during our stay.
The hotel was clean and functional - full rate seems high, but we found a special offer for a family room. It was a spacious apartment with bedroom, fold down bed for the kids, kitchenette and breakfast area. Friends in the 3 person room found it a lot more cramped though.
Overall, great! Easy to get to, comfortable, close to Disney and a shopping centre where you could eat, stock up on packed lunches or just wander through.

If you are visiting Disneyland Paris for more than one day, this is a good location, only one train stop away. So your little ones can have their afternoon nap before going back to Disneyland. There is also a shopping mall nearby with a good supermarket, less than 5-minute walk away.

When the proprietor said it can accommodate 6 people, they did not lie. There were beds for 6 people. However, the second room was extremely small with a bunk bed; it was almost inhumane to put people in there, particularly in the summer. Luckily the living room was reasonably large, so we ended up re-arranging the apartment, and three people slept in the living room.

One shared bathroom for six people is not a good idea. When you read it it might sound OK, but once you are experiencing it, it's not OK.

We stayed for only two nights, and we spent most of our time in Disneyland, so it's still tolerable.

I have just been to this hotel. We are a family of five. I booked a room for six people because other reviewers said the rooms were a bit small. We had a double bedroom, a small bedroom with bunkbeds and a living room with a double sofa bed. A very good size. The best thing is the small kitchenette. I could prepare sandwiches to take with us to Disneyland Paris, we used to buy fresh bread from the hypermarket close by (5mins walk) in the morning and then off we go to either disney or else Paris. On two separate occasions we bought food from the supermarket and we did not need to go out and eat in a restaurant.
The train station is just opposite the hotel and it is very frequent - every 10 mins. On two seperate days, we even went down to Paris. It is 45 mins away.
I really recommend this hotel for a big family. It is clean, not very expensive considering that we were 5 and close to Disneyland.

Room Tip: Take a large suite to have a bit more space - the difference in price is not that much.

We had a very good experience staying here for 6 nights. The location is just too good. A lot of restaurants are close by ... in 5 min. walking distance. 2 minutes from the Metro station. 5 minutes train ride to Disney and 45 minutes to Paris.

Suites are well furnished and comfortable.

A bit far from the city but never feel like it ...
