“Handy for Disney”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

The location of this hotel for Disney could not be faulted. Literally steps away from the RER station which takes 5 minutes to travel into Disney Land Paris. 5 minutes walk away there is the huge Val d'Europe shopping centre with a supermarket which allows you to stock up on juice, crisps etc. There was also a huge designer outlet centre very close to the hotel for shopping .

The RER was Line A which will also take you into the centre of Paris - cant recall exactly but journey time was around 45minutes.

The hotel itself was nice - breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of cheese, cold meats, pastry and fruits. There was a coffee making machine which dispensed nice hot coffee and also a good selection of teas were available. Food was available from the hotel in the evening but can't comment on this as I didnt' t try it. Did have a couple of drinks in the bar one evening and they were very reasonable indeed.

The rooms were nice and clean. My only gripe would be that the beds are a little hard and that I like firmer pillows, however, I am aware that this is totally a matter of individual choice. Small gripe would be that you can hear the trains passing the station - not a huge noise granted but I am a light sleeper and it did waken me.

Car parking was great - very secure and only 7 euros for each day. Access via a lift in the car park to the hotel itself was great for moving luggage around.

Staff were very helpful and kind. All in all an ideal place for a stop over if travelling to Disneyland Paris. Should also mention that close to the shopping centre there are a few nice bars/restaurants selling a reasonable good selection of food and drinks.

Classic Ibis standard hotel, basic simple but nice. The hotel is just few steps from the station, one stop from Disneyland park. Though we had a room looking at the train station, there were no noises all night long. There's no free parking as advertised on hotel website. They have a paying internal parking, 7euro per day, there's a big parking lot outside cheaper and few spots that are free for 1 hour 1/2. Best way to go to the park is either with the train or if you don't mind walking, it's 3km away. We left the car near the close shopping Center, which is totally free and a few minutes from the hotel.

a double room at this hotel gave me a double bed with plain white sheets, two pillow cases on the bed (one either side) one towel per person, one hand towel, one toilet roll, two plastic cups wrapped in celophane, soap/body wash/shampoo (all in one) x 1 by the sink (empty) and x 1 in the walk in shower (no bath). one floor matt in the bathroom. no wardrobe, but shelves in a croner with hangers. no bath robe, no slippers, a tele that is ONLY in french with about 20 channels. basic remote that only does volume up and down, channel up and down, and on/off switch. no tea/coffee making facilites, no safe, no binn! courtyard view with small walk out (like bay windows) that is fully on display on the square. very helpful and friendly staff though, but they do tend to speak french to each others, so if there happens to be anything on the booking that they dont want you to hear, if you dont speak french, you can be fooled! helpful and always smiling staff though - magali is brilliant, and speaks perfect english.

Room Tip: rooms at the back of the hotel can be the better rooms for quietness

I had stayed here for 3 nights and found the location to be excellent..its right on the doors of RER station and 5mins walk from the main shopping mall.
Village La Marne is closeby walk and is a gr8 place for shopping.
Hotel service was OK. Found staff to be a bit rude..could have been more courteous and friendly.
overall would rate 6/10

The hotel location is perfect for visiting La Vallée Village! It was within 5 mins walking distance. You can shop and walk back to drop your shopping bags back at the hotel if you do not wish to carry them around.

The room or I should say appartment was cosy. It has a well-equipped kitchen. However, there wasn't any soap to wash up after use. I tired to boil some water using the pot but realised that there was a layer of oil on the water.

The bed was comfy! It was a pity I had an early flight in the morning.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay with friendly staff to assist you when you have any questions.
