It's with trepidation that I write this review as once you find an amazing holiday place you want to keep it all to yourself! This place is just that. We've travelled extensively throughout Europe and in particular Italy and this place tops them all and one that we'll be going back to. Bob and Ian (plus the animals!) are amazing hosts - friendly, warm and nothing is too much trouble. Right from the booking, through to the spot on directions and there amazing sightseeing and restaurant recommendations it made for a holiday to remember.

The apartments are immaculate, spacious as are all the facilities. The night making the pizzas is lots of fun and a great chance to meet other people staying there. They also have a great vegetable and herb garden which guests are welcome to use.

We had lots of fun exploring the area around Casal dei Fichi. It's not touristy like a lot of the rest of Italy and there's some amazing restaurants - so you won't go hungry!

All in all a fantastic place and a great holiday.

The apartments are equiped to a very high standard and are beautifully clean. The view and the pool is lovely and Bob and Ian provide a real welcome. The 2 dogs also give a more homely feel. We felt that we had a real rest. Thanks

Casal dei Fichi lives up to all its rave reviews. The apartments are top quality and extremely well kitted out. The view is amazing, we ate in far more than anticipated just because we couldn't beat the location. Bob and Ian are the perfect hosts, unobstrusive yet mines of local information. They gave us loads of top tips for days out in the mountains and the coast as well as guiding us to local restaurants. They generously allow you to pick produce from their veggie plot and fruit trees and their pets will love you to if you want them to. They also put on a pizza night using the authentic pizza oven in the garden.
We travelled as two couples and rented the two linked apartments, Raffaello and Rossini which was an ideal combination of shared and private space. We made loads of use of our garden space and the swimming pool. In fact some days we didn't leave Casal dei Fichi. We will definitely return and are currently sorting out dates for one of the Gourmet Olive Weekends.

Top marks from vitually all reviewers says it all.Mountains,beaches and good food are all within an hour or twos drive.Hard to think how Bob and Ian could improve on the package that they already offer.Its worth stopping at one of the bigger supermarkets on the way in from Ancona airport as the choice and quality of food and wine is amazing.More local shops and supermarkets are still good but do not offer the same huge choice that is available at the larger stores.
