This is a truely beautiful converted farmhouse in the most idyllic of settings, surrounded as it is on all sides by the stunning scenery of Marche. Our apartment was perfect, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need and our hosts, Bob and Ian were superb! Nothing was too much trouble for them even to the point of laying on a pizza evening on the monday evening (a regular feature on a monday) - an idea they came up with to compensate for the fact that local restaurants do not open on a monday! An outside pizza oven allowed all guests to try their hand and great fun was had by all.
We chose to stay at the house for much of the time, relaxing in our apartment garden (they all have one!) or by the fantastic pool whereas our friends used the time to explore the surrounding towns, villages and the mountains close by - the choice is yours. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in the area and Ian and Bob are only too happy to point you in the right direction for a delicious meal or just read the guest information booklet which tells you everything you need to know. We enjoyed our stay at Casal Dei Fichi immensely and cannot recommend it highly enough...all in all a real find and a place we will be going back to for many years to come...as much as I would have liked to keep it a secret I feel it's only fair to tell others about it in order to allow them the experience too!!

We have seen a great deal of Italy on our travels and can say confidently that this part of Le Marche is truly one of the most beautiful in the whole country - and Casal dei Fichi is the perfect place to stay in order to see it.

We've stayed a couple of times at CdF, the last of which was in February. Our hosts were charming and very helpful with suggesting places to eat at and to visit. The house itself is lovely and the apartments very well equiped. It's also wonderfully quiet.

We'll be going back again for more soon.

We arrived for our honeymoon on the 19th July. To say the venue took our breath away was an understatement. The views are spectacular the pool was just right and the apartment was clean and welcoming.

Bob and Ian are the perfect hosts, Melissa and I really appreciated the little things they provide in the apartment to make your stay that bit more special. They think of everything and if there is something you need they sort it straight away.

The pizza night was memorable and a great ice breaker with other couples and families staying at Casal Dei Fichi. The local wine is amazing as is the food.

We will be back again without a doubt.

We spent 8 wonderful days at Casal dei Fichi in July. We booked based on the TripAdvisor reviews but our experience far exceeded our expectations.

The location is beautiful with views to die for. We were very fortunate to arrive as the sunflowers were in full bloom, so this just added to the vistas. The swimming pool is beautiful, clean & just the right temperature and the garden is beautifully landscaped with fantastic lavender. We also loved being able to pick the fruit & vegetables that Bob & Ian are growing - food mm not miles!

The apartments themselves are beautifully laid out and very comfortable, The kitchen lacked for nothing and even had an added touch of an Italian cookbook!

The local restaurant at Francavilla is fab - great food, friendly people & very cheap.

It was a wonderfully relaxing holiday. This is in no small measure down to Ian & Bob. They are friendly & open, happy to while away a few hours with tales of Italy or just as happy to give a friendly Hi and leave you be - it's entirely up to you.

Finally a mention must go to Hattie & Balso the wonderfully friendly dogs that adopt the guests for the duration. It was great to open our door to find them waiting for us in the morning.

We loved it. Hats off to Bob & Ian - it was worth the effort; you have created a beautiful place and we will definitely be back!
