We arrived for our honeymoon on the 19th July. To say the venue took our breath away was an understatement. The views are spectacular the pool was just right and the apartment was clean and welcoming.

Bob and Ian are the perfect hosts, Melissa and I really appreciated the little things they provide in the apartment to make your stay that bit more special. They think of everything and if there is something you need they sort it straight away.

The pizza night was memorable and a great ice breaker with other couples and families staying at Casal Dei Fichi. The local wine is amazing as is the food.

We will be back again without a doubt.

We spent 8 wonderful days at Casal dei Fichi in July. We booked based on the TripAdvisor reviews but our experience far exceeded our expectations.

The location is beautiful with views to die for. We were very fortunate to arrive as the sunflowers were in full bloom, so this just added to the vistas. The swimming pool is beautiful, clean & just the right temperature and the garden is beautifully landscaped with fantastic lavender. We also loved being able to pick the fruit & vegetables that Bob & Ian are growing - food mm not miles!

The apartments themselves are beautifully laid out and very comfortable, The kitchen lacked for nothing and even had an added touch of an Italian cookbook!

The local restaurant at Francavilla is fab - great food, friendly people & very cheap.

It was a wonderfully relaxing holiday. This is in no small measure down to Ian & Bob. They are friendly & open, happy to while away a few hours with tales of Italy or just as happy to give a friendly Hi and leave you be - it's entirely up to you.

Finally a mention must go to Hattie & Balso the wonderfully friendly dogs that adopt the guests for the duration. It was great to open our door to find them waiting for us in the morning.

We loved it. Hats off to Bob & Ian - it was worth the effort; you have created a beautiful place and we will definitely be back!

We had a really relaxing week at Casal dei Fichi (which with two young children is an achievement!). The pool was great, lovely views and heated just enough to take the chill off but still refreshing. Pizza night was fun and a nice relaxed way to meet the other guests. The apartment (we were in Leopardi) was perfect. Clean, well equipped with a balcony looking over beautiful farmland, sunflowers and the pool. Bob and Ian have put a lot of thought and effort into CDF and it really shows. Plus, they were really patient with our 4 year olds neverending questions :)

Our week at the Casal dei Fichi could not have been better. The landscape is stunning and restful, especially when viewed from the terrace of the Leopardi unit (or from the beautiful pool deck). The hosts, Bob and Ian, take care of every necessary detail, and the apartments are thoughtfully designed and perfectly equipped. The Casal offers a base for a wide range of explorations: mountains, hill-towns, deserted abbeys, and stunning beaches. What is most remarkable, however, is the experience of returning each evening to such a beautiful and comfortable place.
