“Good to be back and relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

While driving to Quercia Rossa, it makes you wonder where you end up. The view is amazing. Hardly any houses to be seen, a nice sundown and only sounds heard are some flocks of sheep elsewhere in the huge valley. One of the places you will definitely return again and again, especially when you can get the Indigo room.
We had dinner at the same location (which should be indicated well on beforehand). The menu is fixed, in a form of buffet. Everything is delicious. Not sure whether it is possible to reserve dinner if you are not a guest.

Everything was perfect. We expected nice views and well furnished rooms (from photos we had seen before we arrived) but the added bonus was the absolutely delicious breakfasts and dinners. Fantastic value for money. Nearby there are lots of pretty Tuscan villages and a thermal spring! We also drove to the beach one day, where you can hire bikes and cycle through a nature reserve.

We spent three nights at this beautiful place in glorious sunshine. It is located in the middle of rolling green hills with breathtaking views of fields and pine trees. Not the easiest place to get to, but no problem with a car and once there it is a true joy to just indulge and surrender to the quietness and beauty of it all. The room was spacious, equally the bathroom, and opened on to our own little terrace. We did not use the pool, but it looked inviting, and dinner on the first night was great - a buffet of mostly local delicacies, more than was possible to eat and all delicious. The house is located within an easy drive to many sights and towns, and run by a charming, extremely well-informed and helpful host. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to leave the daily grind behind.

We loved our stay at Quercia Rossa Farmhouse! The Agriturismo is beautifully situated in the countryside just outside of Manciano and is an easy drive to Savona, Sorano and Pitigliano amongst all the other lovely little spots along the way. The property has a pool and, of course, some really spectacular views over the countryside. Our room was large and beautifully appointed as was the Farmhouse's common areas and breakfast and dinner room ... lovely antiques throughout, everything has been very thoughtfully decorated, inside and out. Alex, Paolo and Maria were absolutely charming hosts and extremely helpful and very friendly. The dinners that were offered were very special and should not be missed as much of the food is locally sourced or locally grown. We highly recommend this Agriturismo. We will definitely return for another stay.

This agriturismo is well located in a beautiful country side. It was early May and the weather was not good enough for the pool but it looked stunning.

The person at the reception gave us good welcome, the room was huge and comfortable and the food on the restaurant was very good.

The restaurant could do better and offer buffet style dinner, with homemade plates. Simply and few options but good.

Most definitely coming back here hopefully this summer.
