My boyfriend and I had a lovely, relaxing break at the Ramla Bay Hotel in May this year. Despite the poor weather for the time of year, we were spoilt for choice when it came to activities within the hotel. This is not to say that we were bombarded by an animation team 24 hours a day egging us on to play various games, but more that there was a lovely indoor pool, health spa and boat trips, as well as a nearby bus stop that allowed us to visit other parts of the island.
All of the hotel staff were polite and courteous and made our stay all the more enjoyable.
The food, though good, wasn't as outstanding as I had been expecting from reading various reviews. It was buffet style and obviously mass-produced, although, saying that, there was a lot of choice and it was all tasty.
The only downside of the resort as a whole was the beach. The sand was covered in rubbish and wasn't at all inviting. The pool and the view more than made up for it though - despite being a little chilly!
All in all, I would definitely recommend the Ramla Bay Hotel for a chilled-out rest away from all the hustle and bustle of home.
