At present this pub is closed. I understand there were management issues. Do hope the owner - who is a great host and ran a good pub and restaurant, finds someone to take this on, as with a little refurbishment it has great potential in a good location. We have eaten there several times over recent years, and the menu was always interesting while avoiding being pretentious, and food was of good quality. This was never a pub for 'ordinary' food of obscenely sized proportions, and we hope it remains that way when it re-opens.
