“Good place to spend the night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

We arrive rather late as the place was not easy to locate and we were driving.

The room was clean and the hotel is situated in a safe neighborhood. However, we strongly recommend to stay here only when you drive as there is absolutely no places for food nearby. It is also quite a distance from the city.

The swimming pool was too small and you have to purchase a swimming cap in order to use it. Sauna was chargeable so basically we ended up not using any facilities.

Breakfast was the best so far with good choices of eggs, coffee, cheese and ham.

We stayed for two nights in October 2013. The property is very nice with modern furniture. Breakfast has a good selection. The hotel turned out to be much further away from city center than we thought. You can take a bus to city center. The hotel does sells bus tickets, which cost 1.50 Euros, one way. At times buses do get very crowded. The bus stop is around 10 mins walk from the hotel. We felt little unsafe walking back to hotel from bus stop at night, since the street is deserted. If you have car this is perfect place to stay. If you are visiting without car, I would recommend you stay closer to city center.

I travelled to Italy with 10 of my family members for my cousins wedding! We stayed at Florence Inn for a week and it was ideal!! The pool is tiny but we didnt go to that area as they like to keep it quiet. We spent most days at the solarium, it was so peacefull and we just had such a good howl.
The hotel is a bit out of Florence, at the beginning of the holiday we were getting taxis back and forth which costs about 30euros roughly. But right round the corner from the hotel is a bus stop, they come every 20 minutes and its only 1.20 euros!!!! Unreal!!! And it takes you right into the city centre.
Honest to god this hotel was immense, it was exactly what me and my family were looking for. Peace and quiet and we made our own entertainment.
Would definitely return if I ever went back to Florence. Also, a good tip is to get a room with a balcony. Me and my cousin Siobhan shared one and it was great just sitting out on the balcony listening to the music! Also right round the corner from hotel is wee traditional Italian cafes, they have the best meatballs!
The hotel stocks your fridge for you, but they charge about 4 euros for a small can of Heineken. So if you take the bus to the Coop supermarket, you can get a pack of 4 for 2.50 euros!!! Actually amazing!!

This was such an amazing holiday.

Room Tip: Request balcony room! There are only 5 I think. Maybe not even that, but they're lovely.

We stayed here because we were travelling by car but found it to be a little too far from town. The staff were friendly and rooms was clean but the internet never worked properly. Each time we wanted to use the internet we had to enter a long username and password. Next time we went back to use it again the password wouldn't work, We had so many passwords by the time we let it was a joke. The shower cubical was incredibly small.

We had a two days stay here and took the hotel on purpose since we felt that the hotels in the city centre were too expensive and had some disappointments with high-priced hotels in Italy in the last years.
The hotel seems completely new built within the last five years, offers a gymn, sauna and our room had a nice terrace. It is a 25 minute trip to city centre with the bus which works fine until midnight and the bus stop is close by the hotel.
A very good choice if you want to focus on the city and have a quite, good value for money and nice place to sleep.
Not your choice if you want to have rich and good breakfast.

I liked the hotel and ambiance, but breakfast and breakfast service could be better. I found the breakfast buffet little weak, anyway i can recommend the hotel to everyone, it is not so far away from the center...

We stayed here 2 nights during our tour of Italy. We picked this hotel on the modern decor and the fact it had ample parking for our hire car.
We had a terrible job finding the hotel on the first night, travelling from Pisa in the middle of the night, it took us about 2 hours to at least get on the right road! In all credit to the hotel they have put signs up once you get onto the right main road to direct you in, otherwise you would never find it within the housing estate it is in.
We checked in around midnight & the gentelman on reception was very friendly & gave us a speedy check in so we could get some sleep!
The room was lovely, very spacious & we even had something from the mini bar which was not at ridiculous prices either. The only thing we found is the WiFi is a bit hit & miss but it was free so you can only grumble about this so much.
Breakfast is good, nice selection & yummy crispy bacon! Again all staff very friendly.
The hotel is a bit far from the centre of Florence, another friendly gentleman on reception the following day seemed suprised when we said we were going to have a day in the centre of Florence, he quickly pulled out a map for us & told us all the sights we had to go and see.
We got the bus in which was ok but we decided to have a walk back to the hotel, if we hadn't have got lost I'd say it takes you 30-45 mins to walk.
The only reason this place doesn't get a 5/5 is because their restaurant closes on a Sunday night & there were no other options of getting food in the whole hotel, unless you wanted to raid the mini bar again! When we asked about food we were directly to a local restaurant about a 10min drive away, seeing as we got lost the first time we arrived we didn't want to chance it so got a taxi, it turned out to be an expensive night as the taxi there and back cost 40 euros & the meal cost 70 euros. I don't think you should have a closed restaurant in a hotel which isn't easily accessible to any other options...
Other than that everything else was perfect for what we wanted and I would consider staying again, just not on a Sunday!!
