“Another bit of history which is well worth it.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

The last time I visited the DesBrisay I learned a lot about the culture and history of our area. The desplays are wonderful and the staff very knowledgeable. The park and pond are also worth the visit.

Nice to take a look around, there are lots of interesting things to see. There is a particularly interesting exhibit on right now about rum running in Bridgewater in the1920s.

“Great Native Display”

Musuem is very small and crowded. Went with seniors and there was no place for them to sit and rest.

Thanks for your appreciation of our First Nations exhibit! We do have benches throughout the museum for resting spots, and we should have made you aware of them. Our apologies.

“Bright, beautiful, do check it out!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2011

This is a wonderful museum filled with exceptional artifacts and beautiful displays. This years exhibition of locally hooked rugs depict the history and events of the area and are beautifully done. Whimsical folk art, what has become a famous native made cradle adorned with porcupine quills in lovely patterns and more can be enjoyed by self touring or with the aid of the knowledgeable staff....I had forgotten how wonderful this place is....do visit...
