this hotel is rubbish full stop! rubbish rooms, rubbish food, rubbish beach, the drinks are terrible, the bar staff only drank bottled beer that says it all...will never go back there, was glad to get home!
this is not a real all inclusive hotel, far from it, not happy at all... goodbye doreta beach! this is not a 4* hotel

My 10 year old son and I stayed here end aug beg of sept 2005. The hotel is lovely and very clean. The only fault I had was as we were one of the last to check in we had a room that shared a balcony with strangers which I found unacceptable. They should only be given to parties that have arrived as a unit. Some rooms didnt even have a balcony as we found when we used a courtesy room. I would def go again but only if I could be guaranteed a balcony and a view, as our room didnt have either. The childrens entertainment sang the same songs in the same order night after night which was a bit boring they should do different ones to relieve the boredom, the service was excellent and the dining room immaculate as was the rest of the hhotel and pool etc. I would def go back, ideal for anyone with mobility problems as on the whole on the flat. very near airport so first off the bus in 5 mins great.

I was appauled. I was coming for a rest in 4* star luxery. It was joke. The bedrooms were of a 2* quality. If you wanted a shower you put the shower head on the wall then had to stand at the back of the bath next to the wall to get washed.
There was 3inch gap under the door. The state of the hallways were a joke, I could have done the plastering better myself and i know nothing about the subject. The noise levels at night were horrendous. Kids running uo and shouting. A domestic row one floor above me was heard as if in the next room.
On complaining to the rep about the noise,I was told that I should have expected it as it was wednesday night and was the change over date!!
The covers on the meal tables could have been in better condition.
The beach was all pebbles and therefore hard to get in the water. How did this get a Blue Flag?
Most people I have spoken to would not return. I would not return if I was given a free holiday for a week !!! The local people were though on the whole very nice, although having to be moved out of the pool area at 6pm was a little baffling. You were asked to get of your sunlounger by this time.

What is the matter with all you guys moaning, it was bad enough listening to people over there moaning about nothing.

The rooms are basic, and very very clean.

The hotel is designed to cater for families and all the children loved it, not just ours... surprisingley the people who moaned all the time were singles or couples without Kids...

When you go accept that this is a Greek 4* which is the same as a 3* elsewhere... but lets be honest, you probably only paid 2 or 3 star prices.

Food quantity and quality superb, staff couldnt do enough for you.

The All Inclusive element excellent, the strength of the alcohol, pretty good...i mean do you want to get drunk after 4 drinks when its free all day and most the night... i can guarantee if you want to get merry you can do...

So people have a problem with the AI finishing at 11pm, so why dont you get 3-4 drinks each at 5 to 11..... this is why it caters for families who can turn in at 12pm rather than keeping the kids up until 2pm every night.

Fantastic base to explore the island.
