Fantastic time at the lagoon apts again!
This is my 2nd time here and we have booked for next year already!
Don't take notice of the crap about the cruelty to animals of a dog being tied up, this is not true and the last person to comment on this, I noticed they whinged about anything all week they were there as I was there the same week. Dog are treated as working animals in Greece. Note it is not England!
The staff are all fantastic and have become very good friends of mine. The Lagoon is a fantastic place to stay and you will not be disappointed.

me and my partner stayed here for 1 week. directly outside our door there is a dog chained up 24 hours a day - its really cruel. the apartment we stayed in was very old fashioned- the furniture is really hard. we had basic cooking utensils - but didnt cook there anyway.the bathroom needs updating - the mirror is rusty - slight mould on the wall and shower is so old. the 1 bedroom apartment was spacious - it was cleaned daily - fresh towels and bed linen daily. this is just basic acommodation. the pool area is tidy and checked and cleaned daily. the bar staff are friendly- bingo most nights in the bar - no entertainment like the bars on the sidari strip.dont bother going a meeting with the rep - they just want to sell trips which you can book cheaper in town.

Just returned from a week staying at The Lagoon in Sidari with family and friends. This was not our first visit to the resort but our first time staying at these apartments. Upon arrival we were greeted by a smiling Amy who informed us that she had given us a bigger apartment than the one we had booked as there was three of us sharing. If first impressions are what you go by then she nailed it there and then. That element of thought and service got the holiday off to a flyer. The apartment itself was large and spacious, basic but immaculately clean. We asked for extra pillows - no problem. Nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen area, if you decide to use it, contained all the necessary implements: pots, pans, cutlery, kettle and toaster. You will need to take a tea towel, cloth and washing up liquid if you intend to cook yourself (not that we did). Air-con is 7 euros a night but because we had 2 bedrooms you have to pay double. The pool area is well maintained and very clean. There are loads of sunbeds so you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve one. Every evening the pool guy (I'm sorry I didn't get his name), tidied and cleaned the area so very thoroughly. There was also a supply of pool inflatables which were available for any one to use (again very thoughtful as other places could have just dumped them forcing guests to buy their own). As I mentioned earlier we didn't use the kitchen facilities as we ate breakfast every morning in the bar. A full English was only 3.50 euros. It was piping hot and served with toast and jam, excellent value indeed. We also ate there one evening which again was very good, highly recommend the local dishes. Now the main thing that impressed us most about Lagoon was the staff. Dennis, Alex, Danny and Ada are an absolute credit to the place. Their friendly manner, perfect English and great banter just made the holiday for us. Each night there was something going on albeit a quiz or bingo. These apartments are really good but the staff make them excellent. We will definitely return.

There is however, one negative point as mentioned in an earlier review. Daisy, the puppy, is indeed chained up 24 hours a day. Now I understand that the Greeks have a different mentality to their animals than us Brits, but seeing as 99% of the clientele are from a nation of animal lovers I would like to think this could be taken into account. I can't see any reason why this puppy is kept in those conditions or indeed kept at all. What is the point of having a dog in those circumstances? It is just wrong. If the owner of the Lagoon reads these posts and takes any store by them PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE think about how upsetting it is for many of your paying guests to see a "pet" treated like this. It really is letting you down on what is undoubtedly a very good business. Please reconsider. Not to end on a downer if you are looking for a quaint little Greek village and a quiet holiday then Sidari is maybe not the place for you. If, however, you want some good old fashioned fun with some great bars and restaurants with friendly staff and a hint of "tackiness" then give it a try. And most definitely try the Lagoon. We will be back.

We ended up in Lagoon after we were doubled booked and was I glad that he had been. The 2 bed apartment was really big, TV'S and hairdryers in both rooms plus loads of cupboard space. The location is great as it is right on the main street, close to all the bars and restuarants and right by the beach. There were always plenty of sunbeds by the pool and the bar and food choice was good.
I would certainly recommend here as it is really in such a great location.

This is our second holiday to lagoon and once again it was brilliant, from the moment we set foot off the coach to the moment we got back on it we felt like we were with great friends. We were greeted by Amy the really friendly receptionist who got us all set up with keys etc. the room was clean and had all we needed. The bar was well stocked and the menu was varied with some lovely greek specialities all reasonably priced. we chose to spend most evenings in the bar as there was always some form of entertainment. All the staff were absolutely wonderful and the service was second to none many thanks to everyone spiros, alex, dennis, ada and danny. will be booking for next year very soon !!! Highly recommended

Our 7th year at The Lagoon, stayed 12th-26th August with our mates Donna, Scott and Kids. Morgan and all the kids love seeing each other every year, although we are good mates during the year. Another fantastic 2 weeks, plenty of laughter, Donna getting thrown in the pool during the early hours lol. Lovely hospitality by Spiros, Aleko, Denis, Ada, Danny and of course Ami, who once again gave us a fab room (113). Had so much fun in the bar of an evening after plenty of lovely family meals on the strip. Food once again in the bar excellent, rooms perfect and cleaned well, all staff are fabulous and enjoyed the tribute acts, bingo (I won yessssss) and quiz's, The Dingles nearly won lol. Thank you to all the staff at the Lagoon, brilliant holiday with mom dad, Morgan and our friends and friends from every year we see there too. Had a blast, see you all same time next year. Love The Lagoon!
