“what all this hate comes from ?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2014

I would love to thank Sally for taking such a good care for us. She helped us with renting bicycles so we did not have to worry about anything. All the stuff is really nice and I have no idea why people are being so mean. It says - no pool, it says - no airconditioning, so where's the surprise? The room is cleaned every day, towels are changed, it is by the beach, in the centre and at the same time not that loud! I would definietely recommend this hotel to anyone!

I arrived with my daughter in May for a week and were both made to feel very welcome. The rooms are very pretty with painted wood furniture and are kept immaculate by Sophia who is the most loveable housekeeper ever!
The owners made sure everything was perfect for us throughout our stay and the staff are also amazing!
The location of the hotel is great. Walk out of the front and you are in the middle of it all & walk out the back and you are in a different world! The peaceful gardens with sun beds which overlook the quiet beach make this a very special place. 30 seconds walk along the beach and you are on the busier main beach.
The restaurant food is lovely and together with the sea views, makes a very relaxing place to have a meal at any time of the day.
The bar staff are fab - great fun, genuine, lively people who feel like family!
Thank you all for making our stay so good - we will be back to see you soon Susan & Jasmine xxx

Room Tip: You can request a quiet room if you prefer early nights!

We are here now, its lovelyand quiet. Our room was upgraded from a twin to a treble and we have the most amazing view out to sea and a lovely big balcony to enjoy it from. The maid is so nice and has brought us fresh towels daily. The room is basic but really clean and the location is ideal. Oh and they have free wifi...bonus!

Room Tip: our room was number 103 - right on the front facing the sea.

We (my husband and I) stayed here for 10 days in September. It was a great location, just on a small lane leading to the beach and at the start of the centre strip of Sidari. We had a quite big room facing the sea, an amazing view that really made oour holiday special. The room was quiet, even though the bars were 2 minutes walk away. The restaurant and garden was lovely and relaxing, we had some wonderful meals. Overall, we liked the room and view, the room was clean and nicely decorated albeit a little basic, noaircon but a ceiling fan which suprisingly was pleasant. Free wifi too.

We also loved taking the small boat from Sidari Harbour to the small islands for the day, highly reccommended.

Didn't realise this place was also a hotel. Ate here after receiving a recommendation from one of the waitresses in a nearby bar. Meal was absolutely delightful and probably one of the best meals I ate during my time in sidari.

There was a large menu to choose from all reasonably priced. I chose chicken in a cheese, Ham and mushroom sauce with a coke whilst the other half chose pork kebab and a beer. Both meals were fairly large (large enough for us to forego dessert) and came accompanied with chips and a greek style salad. We both thought both meals were tasty. In total the bill came to roundabout 25 euros which I thought was fair.

We were seated in the outdoor area facing the beach. We were lucky we got there when we did (around 8pm) as the place filled up pretty quickly and seemed quite popular.

this hotel was fine for what we needed, just a room with a toilet and shower and bed to sleep in. Very near the main beach and just moments from the main strip. However upon arival there was no one at reception and when we finally found someone to check us in, they seemed very unaware that we had even booked in to stay. But they were very nice and after 15 minutes or so we got taken to our room. The room was very basic and so tiny, just two hard beds squashed together, we did have a balcony but it overlooked a very scabby roof and was next to the airvent for next doors reserant which often let of sewer like smells. We stayed there for two weeks and the room wasnt really cleaned apart from once or twice when she made the beds and mopped the floor, we had to go and buy our own loo roll and the shower flooded everytime we used it! we had to steal towels from the other unused rooms as we wernt given any new ones the whole time we were there. As far as we were aware we were the only people staying in the hotel aswell which seemed a bit odd and we sort of got the impresion that the staff were very confused as to why we were even there! Espesially from the man that slept on the sofa in the reception, and used to shout at us in greek ( very scary) when we would come in from a night out in the early morning. We had been told we would be greeted when we first arived with a free coctail, where we would then pay the 240 euros for our room. However as no one greeted us, no one asked for any money! and this stayed the way for the hotel, and we often joked that we could just leave for our flight on the last day without paying, and no one would even notice! However we do have a concience so on the day before the last day i went and found someone and gave them the money, only to be stopped while i was walking through the hotel later that day by a different man asking where his money was! Luckily the man i had given the money to eirlyer wasnt a compleat stranger and after finding him again we managed to sort it out and they were both happy. Overall a very odd holiday stay, fine for what we needed a cheap easy place to stay, as we spent no time at the hotel apart from sleeping and showering, and there is a very nice hotel next door with a very nice pool and bar, which we spent our days at, (the staff were much much nicer to us there even tho we wernt even paying custemers!) however probably not perfect for familys?

  • Liked — Convinience of location
  • Disliked — The fact they didnt even no we were meant to be staying there
