I stayed here for 11 nights with Ian (my boyfriend) and my 9 year old son Tom. We all loved it! Nicos, Sophia and Valliki absolutely made our stay the best! The rooms are fab, lovely balcony overlooking the pool, facilities are just right. Nicos really is the host with most! He is a good people person, and you can tell he "knows" people within no time at all! We always drank our Mythos from a chilled glass, and he would say "You want a glass?" - when we said "Yes", he would snort and get you one, with a cheeky glint in his eye! He knows if you have a sense of humour, so wouldn't do this if you didn't! The pool area is kept clean and tidy. Nicos is clearing glasses away, and picking up bits of rubbish as he goes along, so much so that at the end of each day, I would get my other half to empty his ashtray, and we would straighten our sunbeds and take empties back to the bar - only takes a minute to help! The food at the Christakis is wonderful. English breakfast is the best I've ever had in Greece and is 5 Euro for bacon, sausage, eggs, hash brown, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, butter, jam and a cuppa and an orange juice - sets you up for the day! We also went to the Greek night which was fantastic. The food was gorgeous. The Kleftiko here is beautiful too - highly recommended.
Every restaurant we went to was exceptionially good, with the exception of Angelina's in Canal D'Amour/Peroulades, which was average. We enjoyed The Three Little Pigs, The Village, Madison, Memories, The Village and the Steak House just down from Christakis.
We are looking to go back to Christakis next summer, as we enjoyed it so much!
If you are in Sidari, drop in to Christakis for a beer, lunch and a swim, or for dinner on an evening - you won't be disappointed, and Nicos will make you feel more than welcome!
