We had our last night in Samoa here and it was perfect for that. We spent our first night at the airport lodge just up the road, and Le Vasa was much better. We had the garden room, which was only slightly more expensive than the airport lodge, but we had access to all the resort facilities. Perfect! It's not as nice as the fales, but is much cheaper, so it seemed fair. We'd come from a beach fale which only had a light in it so this was relative luxury.
We arrived late afternoon and our flight was the following day so we lazed around by the pool and were quite happy. They had a fiafia night cultural show on Saturday and feast. This was neat. The performers were great and it was just interesting to see it - like kapa haka but not quite. The fire juggling being not at all like kapa haka and a very good show. The feast was fun. Roast pig, palusami, oka, taro and other stuff on big buffet. The staff were lovely too and very helpful.
