“Really recommend this hostel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights, the first two nights i stayed in the private 2 person room. My friend had a different flight to me, so i was going to stay alone for 2 days. The hostel was fully booked but rather than making me pay for the private room for 2 more nights the lady at reception managed to fit me in a four person dorm for a further two nights and give a 'free upgrade' to two people from a dorm and give them a private room.
The hostel doubles up as a travel agency whereby the staff give a huge discount. Free drinking water is available.
SevenEleven is next door. Internet Cafe over the road. Family Mart down the road. You can cut through to the beach from the hotel opposite.
Perfect location, far enough away from the loud hussle and bustle of Chewang but also within easy walking distance (5-10min walk)

Stayed two nights in the guesthouse and two nights in the other hostel owned by the sister. Both clean dorms with 4 or 6 beds. Free wifi, aircon. The sisters were both really helpful in organising day trips for us and their hospitality was amazing. About 5 minute walk to town centre and 2 minutes to the beach walking. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful location, lovely lady on reception, brilliant little room, decent bathroom. Everything about the hostel is great, it's a 10 minute walk to Chaweng but it's quite quiet so that was great. There a 7eleven right next door and plenty of shops and market stalls and nice places to eat on the walk down. We had a private room, the bed was comfy and a big window which bought in loads of light. The bathroom was okay, only one per floor so you may have to wait to use it but we didn't really have any problems with it! We also had our washing done here, our clothes smelt so nice! Loved our stay here, would deffo recommend it!

The staff in this hostel is very friendly and helpful. They were keen on fetching us from the airport as well. They will organise some excursions in Kho Samui at a discounted rate which is really awesome. The rooms are tidy and clean with aircondition. The beds are really comfortable and you sleep like a baby. If you are looking for a quiter place to stay then this is it. It is about a 5-10 walk away from Chaweng, where everything happens. Bophut is less busy and you can relax peacefully without major disruptions or noise from the busy city centre. Right across the road is a resort which is situated on the beach with amazing views of the beach. There are restaurants right along the beach if you want to eat out instead of walking to Chaweng. There is a shop and pharmacy literally next door to the hostel which is convinient for the tourist. They also have scooters which you can book out if you are not keen on walking.

This was the best dorm we have stayed at. There was Really friendly and helpful people working there! They helped us with a new booking and transport to that hostel when this place was full. They always had a smile and welcomed us :) / Lina and Michelle

This hostel is one of our favourites so far in Thailand! Don't be put off by the lack of reviews, they're fairly new!
The rooms are lovely and clean, with HUGE beds! The staff are really welcoming and make you feel like part of the family. Jigga (I hope I spelt your name right!) is so helpful and really made our stay. The other girl didn't speak great English, but was still always smiling! They even called hotels in koh tao for us when we couldn't find accommodation online and helped us book! So impressed! Anything else you need to book they will help you out as they are also a tour agent.
It's a 2 minute walk to the beach if you walk slowly and maybe 5 minutes into town and the restaurants.
Rooms are a really good price for an otherwise expensive island!
There are 2 hostels by the same name on Chaweng beach, both owned by the same family and when we wanted to extend our stay and they had no room, they organised for us to move to the other hostel with free transport.
Would definitely come back!

Only thing to note, the hostels are small (4-6 rooms at each one!) so if you're a solo traveller or are looking to meet people it might not be the best place!

Stayed for 4 nights at this hostel. The staff are amazing and make you feel really welcome. The rooms were very tidy and clean. They were fantastic with booking onward travel for me. They also have access to booking scooters which is handy. Only a stones throw away from places to eat and also very close to the beach ( you just need to cut through or of the resorts on the beach to get there Which is fine). I was only meant to stay here 3 nights but stayed 4. Highly recommended.
