“Fantastic holiday. Super friendly staff. Will 100% go back again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

From the moment we arrived at this hotel, the staff treated us as though we were the only 2 people there. It was myself and my boyfriends 8 year anniversary, we were greated with drinks and flowers and the hotel had made the room up with swan towels and champagne. The room we stayed in was a superior room and it was so spacious and the bed was huge!! we had lots of ly ins. The staff cleaned the room everyday and did a turn down service at night. The little touches were fantastic, new flowers everyday, new towel arragments lik elephants, and candles wit burning oils at night when you came home. Love loved the room. We had a huge bath tub with jets and the shower was very powerful which my boyfriend loved. The breakfast buffet was nice and lots to choose from. This was included in our room price. The food in olivio was so so tasted and freshly made. Well worth trying, though a little more expensive then other places. Its was lovely to eat there as it was right on the water edge and the pool. The pool was a little small, but lovely and very clean. When its high tide you can go straight from the pool down the steps into the sea, which i loved. The coctails are delish and happy hour at the pool does be a great athmosphere. At night the tide does be out so you can go straight from the pool area onto the beach for a walk along the water to find a restraunt or bar. Which is lovely because the cool breeze. We stayed for new years eve and even though it was thunderstorms, we had a great night at the restraunt gala dinner. When we came back from dinner the staff had put presents on our bed with the turn down service, of vantiy bags and a framed picture of me and my boyfriend at the dinner. This was realy sweet and such a nice gesture. We booked a trip through the desk at the reception and they were very helpful. The only thing i wish was differed was the fact that during the day it was always high tide so we never got a chance to sit on the beach (but that was no fault of the hotel, just the time of year) Fantastic hotel, realy enjoyed our stay. Definatly recommend.

Got a great deal for the Villa at 9400 baht for 2 nights. Thai service is no doubt one of the best, the best part was the villa with plunge pool. You can jump from ur bed into the pool. It also has a juccuzi out in the open.
The minus would be the location, as it is a little far from the happening area. But then again it is only a 10-15 min walk. Also the beach and the hotel rooms are divided by a small road, which also not a big problem.

I would suggest go for the villa rest all is just about ok.

Room Tip: Villa Villa.... :)

It is located on Chaweng Beach, a great area to stay in Koh Samui. The resort is small but is very cozy. As this was the first part of our trip to Thailand we were very impressed with the towels origamis and the aromatherapy left when they were making up the rooms.

The hotel has a swimming pool facing the sea. When the tide is low it is possible to walk south on Chaweng beach by crossing the neighbouring Chaba Beach Resort. Along the beach it is possible to choose one of the many options for a Thai massage or to eat. A nice place to eat on the beach is Your Place with an excellent music selection and affordable prices.

If you want to experience an off the beaten track go north on Chaweng beach. Take the street crossing the resort , direction Samui Beach resort, continue, cross the gate and you be on a very quite and romantic beach. Once there our suggestion for a very romantic meal in the evening is the Coco Rock at the Coral Bay Resort. A little bit further along the beach is the Nora Beach Resort where you can order the Famous Thai Set menu or have lessons of carving fruits and vegetables or thai culinary.

Last week i being stay at Baan Haad Ngam Boutique Resort and Spa, I want to give credit to this hotel, expecially Ms Jittaporn, she give me a very memorable honeymoon at Koh Samui. The Pool Villa is Perfect, the location quite far from town, but this is the place i wanted, peaceful, quite and nice. One thing i want to highlight is the arrangement of the hotel, the hotel provide airport transfer, early check in, perfect arrangement in the hotel room, and provide a flower and sparking wine for us. Last but not least, upkeep the good service and excellent personal touch. I will be back on this hotel next year.

First part of our trip to Thailand we spent at Baan Haad.
Nice small resort, warm staff , very good rooms and clean location.
Restaurant ok but as usual outside restaurants cheaper. For breakfast is appropriate.
Not so far from Chaweng , local taxi o.k also walking to center is ok.

Owerall satisfaction and come back and recommend .

Room Tip: Higher floors is better and have less noise.

Really disappointed with our stay at the Baan Naam - After what seemed excellent reviews on trip advisor,

Good points
The olivio restaurant, great food at reasonable prices

Location, Quiet part of the beach - but not to far to walk for the lively part of Chaweng if you want it.

Clean and spacious rooms.

Staff, Polite, Friendly and very helpful.

Free kayak rental.

Happy hour at the bar.

Bad points
Has a road running through the resort - and can get really noisy at the crack of dawn, Especially if the room is at the side of the rd like ours was, room 204

Failed to mention upon booking that the resort was going through renovation - Was greeted by a letter on the bed on arrival, Hard to relax by the pool when a Jack hammer is in constant use.

The pool area - even though the pool has excellent views, the maintenance and cleanliness was a real let down. The pool has wooden flooring, Some bits of flooring had screws not fully screwed down - not a good mix when walking round bare footed.
Due to the design each piece of flooring had around an inch gap, You could clearly see rubbish that had accumulated over the years, also a haven for Mosquitos beware.
Having to sign for towels - can be a real pain when nobody is available to hand you one !

In 2011 we stayed at the chaba cabana resort (which is just next door) Which we really enjoyed, wish would have done the same this year and at the fraction of cost of staying at the Baan haad. Really disappointed.

We booked several rooms in this resort for a party of about 30 people attending our wedding in Lipa Noi. The informative and interactive emails from the staff beforehand were very reassuring. Upon arriving the entrance to the hotel made us a bit nervous but once inside we were not disappointed. We were upgraded to a pool villa and given a complimentary breakfast due to our early flight.
The rooms are wonderful and whilst a few amenities are a bit outdated they are nothing to complain about with good wifi, pristine clean rooms and a breakfast buffet that caters to even the fussiest of eaters!! The chef made several different omelettes for all our guests with a smile and a flourish :)
We will definitely be returning, the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is surreal its so beautiful and the staff cannot do enough for you! The resort caters for children with a small wading pool but also has a great vibe catering for young and old looking for a romantic escape.
Definitely a hotel for those with beer money and champagne taste!!
