“Spacious rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2011 via mobile

We are currently staying in Nakorn Samui for 7 nights. The rooms are very spacious each having there own balcony and seating area. All rooms also have a little fridge and you get given free fresh water everyday which is lovely, and we were able to save money on food having a fridge in our room! The bathroom is a decent size and I have to agree with the other review about the sink as it's not very well designed but it is ok.

We stayed during low season and got a good price for a room. One night we came back to our room and there were ants everywhere, so we got the security gaurd from downstairs to come and look and he swapped our room straight away so we were very grateful for that.

The location is quite good as it's not too far to walk down to the beach about a 5-10min walk and around 15mins to walk into town.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2011

For us, this hotel wasn't as great as the other reviewers indicated. We stayed here only for 1 night since we had to catch a flight out early in the morning and the hotel is only a 5 min drive to the airport. We were in a 'superior room' and the room was sizable and looked nice to begin. However, there were some issues with cleanliness and design. For example, there was a huge yellow stain on the bed sheet and what looked to be a small bit of dried blood on the mirror. Worst yet, the toilet smelled very disgusting when it was flushed. We asked if this was normal and had someone take a look at the toilet but they didn't understand what we asked and thought we wanted the toilet cleaned. In terms of design, the sink was set up in a way that made it impossible to turn on the water without splashing it on yourself and there was no hand soap. We also weren't able to receive wireless internet (on the 2nd floor) because the signal was too weak.

We stayed at the Nakorn Samui for 3 nights in January, the hotel was lovely and so were the staff. So much so that we returned again 10 days later after travelling round Thailand to spend our last 4 nights there. Breakfast was amazing, everything was clean and it was quiet but not far from the busy Chewang town. Definitely recommend if you want somewhere clean, quiet and where you're made to feel welcome
