“Great stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014 via mobile

This review is a little late, but still felt the need to write a review. Stayed for three nights in November 2013. Staff was great, the owner Yanick was also exceptional. Very welcoming. Rooms were clean, very modern. It down poured one evening so the movies downloaded onto the computer were great. Food was also very good despite having made without power one AM due to the heavy rain. Also very much appreciated allowance of a very late check out to accommodate to our late evening flight out. Would definitely stay and recommend this hotel.

Had a fantastic stay at Pandora. Short walk to the beach and shops or hire a motorbike for a quicker/further trip. The staff are wonderful, overnight security service made us feel very safe especially as she would walk us to our room when we arrived home in the very early hours. Breakfast was delicious, I particularly enjoyed crepes and the jams!

The owner Yannick is extremely friendly as are all of the staff and everyone works hard to ensure guests have an enjoyable time. If I ever return to Chaweng I will be returning to Pandora.

Room Tip: Email Yannick directly from the hotel's website.

Despite the snafu with Agoda.com with over booking the bungalows, Yannick was able to secure 2 apartment rooms for us. They were basic but still a little quirky and in the end were perfect for our needs. The location and Yannick are probably the best features of this place. Being on the northern end of Chaweng and across the street from the beach made it ideal of enjoying beach life and night life but still being able to get some sleep at night without chaos outside your window!

Yannick is the consummate host. Super friendly, concerned about how you're doing and just a happy guy. Breakfast was included in our rate and was delicious! He also has an arrangement with a place on Chaweng, just next to the Cha Cha moon resort that has sun-beds (look for the yellow and red pads) that allows you to enjoy those beds as long as you buy at least 1 drink per sun-bed. Seeing as Chaweng is ridiculously busy and you have to rent a bed if you want one, buying 1 drink is a way better deal to having your own sun-bed for as long as you like. Also the friend he has the arrangement with is a kick.

I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and wish we could've stayed longer and that the bungalows had been available. Next time....

This hotel is totally unique. With all the colours, shapes and winding paths, you feel like you're in a fairy land but i have to say, the clue is in the name.

The sink tap had a light on the end and there were changing lights under the bed. It was all very novel but for our taste it was little too 'out there'. I understand that some people will love these quirky touches so this is not my reason for giving them 4/5.

I've marked the hotel down one point because i felt there were a couple of important things missing. There is a pool but no space for sunbeds to relax by the pool. The towel rails in the bathroom weren't nearly wide enough for a towel to dry. There weren't enough plug sockets, especially near the mirrors making shaving or drying your hair a challenge. The number of hangers and wardrobe space ware limited. I felt the price was a little high for what was offered and they didn't get back to us on email so we didn't get the room we'd asked for.

This being said, the staff were all lovely and helpful. The garden was well kept and the breakfast was great considering the size of hotel. The computer was also a nice touch.

I wouldn't stay here again as it didn't suit our needs but Pandora is a really cute place and its evident that a lot of love has gone into creating it.

Room Tip: the basic rooms are very overlooked. If you stay here, opt for an upgrade to give you more privacy

Using Trip Advisor to find accommodation in Chaweng Beach proved to be a terrific decision. We booked Pandora Resort and were thrilled with its location, charm and backed up with Yanick and Won's warm welcome and generous advice and hospitality we had a brilliant stay. We were traveling with our teenage children and they had their own room, most rooms accommodate 2 people, so traveling with young children may be a challenge. But, hey email the resort and see what they can do. The best value money can buy.

Very different hotel, offering all the services you need. Very quiet and relaxing and great location. Breakfast was good but limiting for someone with wheat allergies. Great location in Koh Samui even though we didn't enjoy the island that much.

The breakfast is cooked to order. The coffee is excellent.
I especially liked the computer in each room.
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND
