“Great hotel, fabulous cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We stayed in the large room in the basement. Beautifully furnished, overlooking the inner courtyard garden. Tranquil and very pleasant.

We ate in the hotel restaurant. The chef (host) is enthusiastic and cooks excellent and innovative food. We were very impressed.

Room Tip: All the rooms are very different. Look online for what suits you!

We were travelling back from Portugal to France and stopped in Roquefort as it was getting late and we were tired. We were able to stay the night (had not pre-booked) at this lovely typically french town house and we were allowed to take our dog into the hotel. We opted for the cheapest room 70 Euros which was on the ground floor directly on the road which was fine as it was fairly quiet. The room was obviously designed for wheelchair uses as the loo was raised, there were hand rails and a wet room. The young owner(who was obviously a trained chef) was happy to cook for us without any notice and we had a really superb meal prepared by him with wines to match each course and in the morning we had a really good French breakfast with fresh orange juice, toast, croissants, homemade jams etc. We would love to return and strongly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: The hotel was magnificent and I would loved to explore the upstairs rooms which would probably be pr...

After a long drive this place was a gem. The food wonderful and the hotel was full of charm. The owners were welcoming and friendly. If you want a romantic break come to this hotel as you will not be sorry.

Because all the Hotels in Mont-de-Marsan were full, I ended up with a room at the Logis St Vincent. I met very friendly people creating a very comfortable atmosphere. As a plus the restaurant offers a small selection of excellent fresh dishes.

We liked that place immensely. The building is imposing and beautiful, in harmony with the medieval/Renaissance atmosphere of the town, the service was kind, friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable, spacious and well-decorated, the breakfast copious and tasty in a beautiful garden... and to top it all, the price/quality relation quite good. A place to go back to.

Room Tip: If you can choose a room looking to the garden, don't hesitate.

I arrived on my bike, wet and bedraggled, and was greeted by the very friendly owner who did not bat an eylid at my appearance, nor at that of my bicycle which was promptly garaged in the reception room / office! The bedroom was gorgeous - spacious and lovingly furnished and decorated - and the dinner, prepared and cooked by the owner and served by his wife, was delicious.
All in all, this hotel was the best I have stayed in south west France and the price was, taking the very high standard of the room, facilities and ambience, moderate.
Even though the town of Roquefort itself is not worth visiting this hotel is well worth a detour.

We only stayed here one night and arrived late in the afternoon on a sunday without a booking. We were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely rooms in a restored old building with charming decor. We had a lovely breakfast out the back on the landing above the garden where the chef introduced us to a golden labrador who lives at the hotel. He speaks several languages (the dog not the chef) in order to get treats. We wished we'd had dinner there the night before as it was so lovely and the service so relaxed and friendly.
