This lovely gastropub is just minutes from our house yet after seven months of living in Frodsham we had never eaten there. Shame on us! After our first visit today, we know we will return many more times. The decor is elegant with aubergine and silver-grey decor. Contemporary yet extremely comfortable and inviting. Our servers were young people who were attractive, attentive and helpful. Sunday roast menus are very popular in England. Travellers had the usual roasts -- pork, beef and lamb -- but with a difference. Each plate included a meat that was not smothered in gravy, and included boiled potatoes. However, other veggies were served in a bamboo pot and were delicious and tasty. When on a menu we normally order creme brûlée, our favorite. This has to be one of the most delicious and inviting brûlée we have had since in the UK.
