“Cinnamon roll and coffee!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2012

this is a great addition to the Treasure Cay Resort, Goin for a roll and coffee and visit with Florence or her husband. Great place to hang out and catch what's happening around the place. Also wonderful baked bread and johnnycake to take back to your villa for meals. also has cakes and desserts available by the piece.

“Local Breakfast Spot With Sweets”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2012

Florence and her husband operate this small breakfast spot adjacent to the Treasure Cay Resort & Marina. It seems like the local residents stop by for Florence's tasty sticky buns or rum cake and then wash them down with the best cup of coffee at Treasure Cay.

A limited grilled breakfast is available of eggs, bacon/sausage and the like.

“Sticky buns are to die for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012

This place is such a great little spot right in the heart of Treasure Cay. Florence is an amazing baker, and her and her husband make a great team.
You must try the sticky buns!

“Best Rum Cake on the planet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2011

For 22 years, Cap'n Forty and his wife, Florence have operated their bakery and cafe in Treasure Cay Bahamas. It's more than a bakery .... it's a local meeting place for "the boys" and travelers-in-the-know to catch up on local events, fishing, weather and hurricanes. This is the best place in Treasure Cay to find a bone fishing or deep sea fishing guide. There are a coupla tables inside, but most people sit outside at the round tables or at a coupla picnic tables.......

Breakfast is at 6:00 a.m. til around noon and lunch/dinner is from about noon til about 4:00 p.m., or so .... remember that paradise has no real schedules .... except breakfast.

Every day Florance cooks cinnamon buns, rum cake, cookies, bread and local Bahamian breakfast. I try to grab some rum cake or cinnamon buns if I can get there early enough.
The rum cake oozes with dark rum and can probably get ya arrested with it on yer breath.

The lunch/dinner is usually Bahamian chicken or pork with fresh bread to sop up the juices and there's always something sweet for dessert.....

Florance also does catering for weddings and the like

There's an internet shop on one side of the cafe, and a coin op laundry next door on the other side....

“Sticky Buns to die for & more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2011

I love this place. We went every morning for to giant sticky buns and coffee. It cost just 12 for the 2 giant fresh buns & 2 coffees. Everything is made fresh from the most amazing breads to lobster quiche. Florence & her husband captian forty are warm & welcoming. A nice mix of locals and visitors. It is the meeting place of the town. No trip to treasure cayis complete with out it
