“Heaven on earth, 5* all the way!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Our annual visit to tal-y-bont was rewarding as ever. The weather was not great, but we had the warmest of welcomes from Anne, Dennis and Albert the lovely black lab. The weather could not dampen the walking, kick started by a hearty locally sourced breakfast, lovingly cooked by Anne. We have already booked for next year with some friends to relax and charge. Thank you so much!

“Fantastic BB”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Just returning from a lovely stay at the Tal-Y-Bont what a wonderful place. Dennis and Anne were the perfect hosts, thank you again Anne for washing our walking stuff after it got muddy. The B&B is situated in the heart of Snowdonia in the most beautiful countryside with good walking all around the area. Though we where there for a classic car tour this time we will definitely be back for a walking weekend soon. Lovely old house and fantastic breakfast, all in all one of the nicest B@B's we've stayed in for a long time.

“What a place.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012 via mobile

We've just returned from a fantastic couple of nights staying with Dennis and Anne. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome. We travelled with our 1yr old daughter and everything was provided for, travel cot, high chair, even an extra jug of full fat milk. We couldn't wait to get up in the morning for the most gorgeous well catered breakfast that was served daily and all dished up with the most stunning view.

We'd highly recommend staying here, we can only describe it as like staying with friends. Thank you for a perfect stay.

“Excellent Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

We stayed at this gorgeous bed and breakfast so that we could explore the local area.
Anne and Dennis made us feel extremely welcome and really nothing was too much trouble.
Even to be greeted on the front door step with an umbrella on a particular wet evening after a day out!
Our breakfasts were extremely appealing to those whose penchant is a full english...a huge variety of cereals and greek yoghurt with fresh fruit and honey were also available, not to mention toast with fab REAL local butter (not nasty little packets!)and again a generous number of spreads from which to choose.
My thermos which got left on the table accidentally was even washed and returned...so thoughtful.
A lovely welcome too from four paws and a waggy tail (Albert)
A particularly quiet and secluded location with awesome views and a multitude of sheep in the field below for compaany.
Really can't recommend highly enough and definately a return trip will be on the cards and soon...

Room Tip: We chose the family room with its ensuite bathroom which again had particularly careful attention to...

“A little taste of paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

Booked for 2 nights and on arrival a delicious cream tea awaited us - mouth watering warm scones. Ann, Dennis & Albert were lovely hosts. The views were amazing. Visited Mount Snowdon on a beautiful sunny day - we were very lucky with the weather. Recommend booking the train tickets online as it gets very busy, and when we arrived at LLanberis at 10am all tickets were sold for that day. Looking forward to going back.
