“High quality dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

A Tuesday night and was quite quiet. We had an excellent meal from start to finish. Stuck for choice but we settled on chicken pate and haggis, neeps and tatties as starters. Both were excellent. Mains were chicken skewers and fillet of pork. Chicken was very good with the pork being stunning. Between that and the wine we broke our normal tradition and had to have dessert. High quality carried through to the crumble and sticky toffee pudding.
We'll be going back again soon. By far and away the one of the best eating places in Renfrewshire.

“Great Food, Nice Locaion & Great Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

Booked for Sunday lunch as a birthday treat for my Son in Law. We were 7 adults and 1 toddler. Food was great. Good choice with everybody pleased with their selection. I had the Duck which was excellent. Nice surroundings, convenient car park to the rear and a friendly efficient staff.

I booked on a 5pm Big Deal so gor the meal for half of what it should have cost. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our time at the Weir. It was quite quiet when we were there and I can't seem why…lovely place.

Give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

“Excellent lunch”

Dropped in here for Saturday lunch. The food surpassed our expectations and the staff were very friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Food arrived promptly, freshly cooked and we will return

“Superb Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Quiet meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Good portions, mains were cooked to perfection, tasty sea bass and slightly crunchy vegetables. Apple and cinnamon crumble and ice cream, apple not too sweet, just delicious. Back again soon!

“Very disappointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014 via mobile

We live local and thought we would go here as we had seen it had very good reviews, so we bought a deal on 5pm...very disappointed with the quality of food and the service. Service was very slow and it was not busy at all. We were in the restaurant 1hr 15mins before receiving our main course. We were also sitting with our main course plates in front of us for 35mins after we had finished. Once they had been cleared no one came back to offer us anything else. I would definitely not return nor recommend.
