Daughter and I shared a twin room on a Saturday night here. Very picturesque, right on what used to be the roaring-busy A21 through Lamberhurst, but now the bypass has taken all that away. Very nice room, secure, comfortable, nicely decorated with eclectic but good vintage items. Lovely fluffy white towels and well-dressed beds. Cute little ensuite, everything worked, and once the 60th birthday party downstairs had closed down (at 11pm PROMPT), all was peace and quiet!
Breakfast was a real treat. Basic choice of cereal/juice to start, then the most beautiful rich, creamy scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, and toast - and that was the basic breakfast included in the B&B price! I think the eggs must be from his own free-range hens - they really are superlative.
Very friendly, nice chap running the place, all very much in order and exactly what we wanted for an overnight stay.
