apart from there not being any signs to the abbey if you go through Lamberhurst village, had to ask directions... it is a very pretty and quiet place to visit. we were greeted by a very pleasant and friendly member of staff who was more than happy to answer any questions. we spent a good 2 and half hours there and our son was happy just to run around and play. the atmosphere is lovely. the best of it is a huge beech tree at the back of the ruin that has grown into one of the walls...quite something.
