My husband and I were in Connemara for 4 days and were out driving around and decided to have a light lunch in the Kylemore Pass Hotel. My husband ordered vegetable soup and I ordered the seafood chowder, we also had a coke and an orange. When the soup came it was a disgusting brown sludge and my chowder was vegetable soup with pieces of chicken and ham with some mussels thrown in. We did not make a scene and paid the bill. I was surprised when paying the the 2 soft drinks cost 5 euro 20 cents a total rip-off. Never to be visited again. Such lovely scenery to be spoilt by this awful hotel.
