On Jan 20, we walked from the Marriott to Ciao. we found authentic Italian food owned and operated by Italian folks. We shared a tossed salad with gorgonzola cheese. It was enough for two people. Lettuce was fresh with a light vinegarette, but a little light on the good tasting gorgonzola cheese. Bread was served which was rather pedestrian. The highlight was homemade parpadelle with a good amount of lobster with a tomato/cream sauce. The pasta was cooked al dente, which was great. The sauce, albeit tasty, was a little bit overwhelming. The cheese ravioli was homemade and tasty, but again too much of the same sauce. Go lighter on the amount of sauce and both dishes would knock it out of the park. Too full for dessert. A warm hug from the fie fly lady proprietor and ciao!
