Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you enjoyed your meal, sorry to hear you had to wait while for your meal. Since our new garden opened we have been really busy. We have recruited 2 additional staff this week & hope to have another team member very soon. I'm sure next time you call in our service will be speedier, although everything is cooked fresh to order there will be a little wait. We also ordered 10 large table umbrellas’, which came today, are now in the garden. Thanks again for your feedback we appreciate it. :)

Decided to stay in Rothbury after trek and pleased to find recently refurbished Turk's Head. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable with a relatively small but functional shower room. Kitchen shuts at 6pm; so had take away in the sunny beer garden!

Had a meal here and noticed the posters for a garden party-stayed for the afternoon chatting to the regulars was good fun-so booked a room for the weekend for the grand opening party. Came and stayed had our own house in the garden with a kitchen & bedroom- spotless and real;y big. had a hog roast (my first) & very tasty and the atmospher was fantastic. The staff were super friendly the pub was great the locals are a great bunch and had the best day i can remeber in ages. Stayed the following night as some festival thing on the next day. Excellent weekend and the breakfast was a treat. Will stay again

Room Tip: We stayed in a self contained house in the gardens at the back of the pub- home from home
