“Hotel Chosen By Newmarket Holidays”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

We had a great night at the Andre Rieu concert at Wembley on the 19/12/14 but unfortunately the breakfast on the 20/12/14 was an utter shambles. Tables weren't set for breakfast, it was a free for all frenzy for food where you had to collect everything you needed before you sat down. Not a good experience at all and we will not be using the hotel again or recommend it to anyone else. We will also be speaking to the booking agents as this was the hotel they use for this event.

Stayed for one night at the hotel with Newmarket holidays ,on a trip to the Royal Albert hall.although Very busy 4 coaches plus a coach of very well behaved children.(students)the hotel was very good. Lovely room, bed clean..and very good service at breakfast.well done the waiters for clearing the tables so fast..good place to stay for the airport,or visiting London, but a bit way out.

Room Tip: Room 120 was good

This hotel is very well located if you have reason to use Feltham Railway station, less than a 5 minute walk away. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful.
The hotel has a gym but this is very small, hot and the equipment dated and would not advise choosing the hotel based on this.
The heating was not working in my room but the staff quickly dispatched an oil filled radiator to my room which worked adequately.
The hotel restaurant and bar is fine, the breakfast offers a good selection and the evening meals are varied and there is always a good value offer on the menu.
The only downside to the hotel is it is very busy with group bookings which means that about 20 people will be turning up for meals at the same time or waiting for lifts. Very frustrating when you end up walking up 7 flights of stairs as you haven't got the time or patience to wait for everyone to clear the queue for the lift.
So good value but you have to time your visits to the restaurant well or face frustration.

We stayed at the St Giles as a stopover for a visit to Twickenham. A room was £46 a night and for the price was great. The room was clean, comfortable and just what we wanted. We came back from the rugby to find the restaurant open until 1030pm and had a great value meal and a drink for £10. All the staff were helpful and we would definitely stay again.

Used this hotel for overnight accommodation prior to the England rugby match at Twickenham. First of all, this is very convenient. The railway station is just across the road about 2-3 mins walk, and its one stop to the ground. The hotel is very cheap. We paid £48 including a very good cooked breakfast which we were both very surprised with. At this price, we were not expecting much, however we found the small room to be clean and well equipped. The bathroom was modern and spotless and the bed very comfortable, although we had a double bed and are used to a king. We had a long drive down and quite frankly did not fancy walking into Feltham, not that theres much there, so we decided to eat in at the hotel's italian restaurant where we had an excellent meal, pate, garlic mushrooms for course one and two pasta dishes for the second course along with a bottle of sauvignon plan for £45/ The service was excellent and again we were pleasantly surprised. Felt ham is not the sort of place you would want to stay for any longer than is necessary, and this hotel could be described as big and pretty soulless, but it was perfect for our needs with its large on sight car park. For value for money, I was almost ready to give it 5*!
Also with two thicknesses of sealed double glazing along with a FIFTH pane set approx 150mm back, the sound insulation was absolutely first class, so no noise at all from the planes passing low overhead and which were landing at nearby Heathrow.
Finally we would stress, our room was spotless, everything worked and the restaurant staff were pleasant and efficient.
Now we have found it, this will be our hotel of choice when we return to Twickenham

Stayed here for 4 nights - Average hotel seems to have been updated recently rooms are big and a good sized bathroom. No plug for the sink, so had to use a running water to shave. mmm not the best did report it but never got sorted. The daily cleaning was poor with rubbish left in the room, cups/glass not cleaned and one day bathroom had not been cleaned. The hotel is used by aircrew's who have no manners whats so ever and rude.

The rooms are just terrible. The walls are so thin you can hear every word from the corridor ad the neighbours.
The furniture and equipment are the cheapest you can imagine. Everything in the bathroom is covered by limescale, shower is leaking, the drain is as loud as a boar screaming in agony. And as a bonus, I didn't have any soap, only two bags of shampoo.
The AC vibrates so much that you have to turn it off to be able to sleep.
