“Great family dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

This restaurant has it all. Great food, good setting (although you look at the road for the most part, the decor of the restaurant is lovely), brilliant service and an interesting curio shop. Certainly my first choice for an evening meal in Sabie.

“Very nice restaurant”

Good restaurant with nice food, friendly people. Recommended by our B&B hosts from the Sabie Townhouse and it proved to be a good choice.

“2 pleasant evenings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

We had twice dinner at the Wild Fig Tree. The meals were very good. The menu offers a lot of different things. Bushbok in the potije was just delicious! The service was very friendly, we had a good laugh together. A real nice place to eat.

“Good food in relaxing surroundings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

Good menu spanning local (e.g. trout), traditional South African(e.g. potjie) and staples (e.g. steak/pizza). Specials board is great and usually provides a twist on these.

Friendly hosts and good service. Pleasant surroundings, particularly on the balcony.

Very handy if you're staying in one of the guest houses nearby.
