besides the very bad quality to price ratio (horrible breakfast, wifi, tv, no room service during the stay, distance to beach and restaurant, unfriendly staff, etc), they said they did not receive my bank transfer and I had to pay the full price in cash there, and they never paid me back the deposit even with proof.
So don't pay the deposit with bank transfer.
But anyway, if you want to enjoy your holidays, there are much better places in Tioman.

Clean and practical apartment- basic amenities provided- microwave, small fridge, kettle and a few plates/dishes/cutlery. There is a TV but only 1 channel in Malay and very poor reception. View from apartment amazing and stunning vegetation around the resort. Staff very helpful, rooms cleaned daily, clean towels provided but no shampoo etc. Swimming pool is excellent- large enough to swim laps. There is a beautiful beach a 15 minute walk to the right of the apartments. Hotel was offering some basic food at breakfast and dinner time. For the price I paid I was extremely happy with this place. Downside is that it is isolated so it might not suit everybody but if you enjoy a place with not much action then this is ideal. I was there during a school holiday so it was actually rather busy but many people left the resort during the day so there were still moments of peace and quiet.

I stayed here with a friend for 8 nights. The room was spacious with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a sitting room/dining area and a kitchenette area. The kitchinette was not very well equipped but it had a toaster, kettle, microwave and a small fridge which was more than enough for us. The air conditioner in the double bedroom did not work in our room but the staff were very helpful and moved us to a new room as soon as they could (we were there over Chinese New Year so it was very busy). The shuttle buses down to the Berjaya resort went every hour and worked well from Selesa to Berjaya. However, to get from Berjaya to Selesa was a little more painful. Buses did not always run on time this way and taxis were not allowed to take us up to Selesa which meant we spent a lot of time waiting in the lobby of the Berjaya resort! There are no eating facilities at Selesa so we ate at the Berjaya resort for most meals. The meals there were very reasonably priced and the food and service was great. There is also a beautiful and secluded bay a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The pool at the hotel was brilliant and usually empty so we had it to ourselves a lot, the only downside about it was that it was right next to the lobby so it was used as a thoroughfare to the rooms. Views from the room were brilliant.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

The apartment consists of two bedroom, one with queen bed, the other single. Microwave oven, toaster and electric kettle are provided. There's a big pool near the reception area for those who fancy a dip. Downside, no restaurant available at the hotel itself. You have to take the shuttle down to Berjaya Resorts Restaurant or head out to Kampung Tekek to eat. Shuttle is available every hour. All in all, not a bad stay at all...

We stayed smack in the monsoon season, December 2012 after finding this place on Agoda. I must add, that I will not use Agoda again, as they charged me the whole cost of the stay rather than a booking fee or the first day etc. I much prefer Booking.com who are much more transparent about their charges.Another gripe is that we rushed to Tanjung gemuk jetty for the supposed last 4pm ferry to Tioman. Informed by staff there that the jetty had been closed since 1 Dec!!! This despite trying all numbers to contact said place. Better off trying to call a local tour operator and checking with them on ferry availability and times, and they will surely pick up the phone.
The one and only ferry leaves from Mersing at 9am everyday, which meant a one day overnight stay at Riverside Budget hotel, which wasn't too bad.
The property is run down somewhat with very few staff taking care of the place, but with these prices ie RM485 for 3nights for a large 2bedroom condotel with a kitchenette, one can't really complain. The place is owned by Johor Corp, and managed by Berjaya, hence the hourly shuttle between the two places, which becomes a lifeline after the first day.
Pros:
- The seclusion and privacy makes it great for couples n honeymooners
- Private beach just 15minutes away, and the great shuttle service plying the two resorts, which comes upon your calling rather than hourly. Great service.
- Usage of Berjaya tioman facilities is a bonus so we did just that with the pool, gym, beach, games room etc
- Apartment had all mod cons like fridge, toaster, rice cooker, kettle and hot water (yay!). The thing that makes it a great place in my book for all hotels etc are the beds and pillows, which this place had with firm mattresses and substantial pillows. Made for a great night's sleep.
- The pool is good, but didn't have the chance, as we were using Berjaya's mostly.
-There is a good cafe just outside the main Berjaya gates which is pricier, but tastier than some of the fare at Tekek village. Most times, we got takeways, and re-heated at the apartment.
Cons:
- The isolation can get to you, while there is a small store at the resort, do ensure that you have packed food items including coffee, tea etc. Tekek village has supplies, but obviously pricier. However, discovered the staff quarters of Berjaya just outside the main gates, had two cafes and a convenience store which stocks most items cheaper than Tekek village
- The monkeys are cute, but when trying to get into your apartment, maybe not. So be ware, and keep all doors and windows closed.
Overall, it's great for a short or long trip, whichever you prefer, and has the mod cons you would expect from a 3 star hotel.

Room Tip: Choose level 3 of block B, which is same level as the pool.

Stayed at 'Selesa Condotel, Berjaya resort' - Super location, ample of facilities available within the Berjaya resort, all possible places to do/see in/nearby resort - resturants, game parlour, outdoor booking desk, water recreation/dive center. Very good buffet (cost - littl on higher side), for vegetarians - a seperate Thai and indian resturant (serves on dinner) with good choices and economical food. the tourist tour guide is friendly and offers good packages and suggest the best and must to see if going for the first time... pool side is beautiful overlooking south china sea... best snorkelling till date with beautiful corals and colourful fishes (you feel like you are inside an aquarium ! ).. relaxing place...

On Flip side - as the open area is vast need to wait for shuttle buses (freq is 1 hr) from condotel to any place in resort.. need to pay for all games seperately though the resort boasts of it as part of facilities.. breakfast not economical if not covered in stay fare..
