Where do I begin!

The first room allocated to us faced a wall of rocky shrubland which was unacceptable. It took a heated argument to get us moved and a new room was only allocated to us some two days later. When we entered the new room we were delighted with the view, however, as soon as we opened the patio doors to the balcony, the air con ceiling tiles fell to the floor, nearly decapitating my husband. Then it went down hill from thereon in.

We had an infestation of ants, the bathroom was absolutely filthy with urine around the toilet, long hairs on the floors which did not belong to us, together with the rusty showerhead and black mould around the bath. The toilet incidently was blocked for three days. When we complained to the Thomson Rep, she simply did not want to know, all they were interested in was trying to sell us expensive excursions and kept quiet about local activities and buses to different resorts. Really poor show!

The hotel food was awful, lots of repetition, undercook theatre kitchen, with restaurant staff coughing into the re-cooked food, picking their noses and very moody waitresses. The entertainment was awful, on the last night the backing singer had a speech impediment! Del Boy and Rodney comes to mind! Cwazy!

Seriously, the highlight of the holiday was the sarong tying lessons. That's how bad it was.

This hotel is to be avoided like the plague - please do not waste your money!!!

The hotel is set in a lovely location overlooking the lovely bay of Cala Llonga in Ibiza. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent english. The rooms were good, clean had a tv and were air conditioned. The restaurant was self service and the food was excellent and plenty of choice. The pool was nice and overlooked the bay the only problem was the sunbeds are chained together which was a bit of a pain. The hotel is a Thomson Gold and there are no children were there which was great but the average age was about 70 so we felt very young as we are only in our 40's. The night time entertainment was excellent and I have to say the Thomsons staff worked very hard. Cala LLonga itself is a lovely resort, quiet but with plenty of choice of good restaurants, Both the beach and the resort centre are only a few minutes walk away. There are also plenty of boat trips from the beach definitely worth trying especially the Capita Jack to Formentera, it is stunning there.

Stayed for a Week here in Early September, travelling with Thomson Holidays. Hotel was clean, Hotel staff very helpful and following reading some of the reviews here after booking :-) was somewhat concerned at what I might find. Anyway... Glad to report that there was no sign of the infamous bug. Food was tasty, albeit rather repetitive. Some of the food I was provided from the Grill (Theatre Cooking) was not cooked adequately, but overall the food was good.
Thomson's reps in resort weren't great. didn't really know the area well, just seemed to desire to sell the Thomson trips. We were going to book a car through Thomson, but the rep's couldnt explain any benefits of doing so, so we rented one with the hotel's preferred supplier and saved money in the process. The entertainment was mostly good, although some of it could be classed as "Cheesy" :-) They had a SUPERB comedian on when we were there by the name of Andy Ford... MOST recommended..

Although the sea seemed safe in Cala Llonga bay, there were quite a few examples of Jelly fish, which seemed to cause isolated stinging cases. Recommend taking some Sting relief, although the lifeguard station had some during our stay.

Recently come back from a weeks holiday at this hotel. Lovely hotel, great location, very clean. I went away with my husband for our anniversary we wanted to just chill for a week and it's great if thats what you're after. Loads to choose from for breakfast and good selection for evening meal. If you want lunch they do sandwiches etc at the pool bar. We chose to do an all inclusive drinks deal which covers soft drinks and alcohol up unitl midnight which was great as you needs lots of water when it's so hot. If you want a spot by the pool you have to go down there early as everyone likes to put their towels down to reserve sunlougers this became a little annoying! There are plenty of other sunlougers but on different levels. There are games to join in during the day which are quite good if you fancy a break from sunbathing and the evening entertainment is pretty good. There are a few shops in town. There are buses and a water taxi if you wanted to veture out of Cala LLonga. Overall I think this hotel is pretty good and would recommend a visit.

My husband and I have just had 4 days at this hotel and loved every minute. We had a room looking out to sea which gave us beautiful sunrises. The room itself was very clean as was the bathroom. Dining room could become a little congested and the tables could be better arranged. Cannot fault the food, good selection - even nice vegetables which were not fried. Good clean hotel with NO CHILDREN. Would go again and would certainly recommend it to other friends.
