Have stayed at these apartments a few times now and can honestly say I've never been disappointed. They are roomy and well equipped with lovely big balconies, each with a sea view.

Don't book here if your looking for a lively night scene, you'll need to go into Las Americas for that. If it's a quiet relaxing trip then your right on the money.

Don't forget to bring a kettle though ;-)

We were impressed by the spaciousness of the apartment and the fact that the fridge was full size. This was advantageous due to the fact that we were self catering. You can use the facilities of the sister hotel which is adjoining. Most nights the sister hotel put on some entertainment and we particularly enjoyed the eagle show but were not so impressed with the snakes. Another thing to note is the free shuttle bus to Los Christianos and Playa de Las Americas daily although limited on Sundays. This either didn't turn up or broke down a couple of times but we were able to claim for the cost of a taxi back to the apartment/hotel as we had purchased frozen food and could not wait for the bus to be fixed!

The beach directly opposite was unattractive but often there were people swimming in the sea which was warmer than the swimming pool. Of particular note was the Irish Bar directly opposite the entrance to the apartments. Here you could have free Wifi and enjoy a pint of Guiness etc and the food was very good and inexpensive. We are looking to return to the apartments in the spring 2015.

Room Tip: Room 507 was exceptionally quiet but doesn't get the evening sun.

Just back from 5 days with my 15 year old. Apartments are huge and clean. We stayed in 401. Quite a long walk from the Reception but the view was amazing. The whole area is quiet, which is exactly what we wanted. We went somewhere different every day. Make use of the free bus from outside the Aguamarina Hotel. Loved Los Cristianos, two soft sandy beaches, shallow water, cheap places to eat looking at the sea. By-passed Las Americas, huge, hilly and ugly. Got public bus to El Medano, beach 20 minutes away. Quaint, windy, surfer village, mostly Spaniards. Bus stop is up a gravel path by the car park next to the Wild Geese pub. Go to pub if you want good cheap food, very friendly staff and cheesy singers. Underneath the apartments, several places to eat. We ate the all inclusive twice at Teppenyaki - 7.50 Euros each, starter, main course, including a glass of wine or bottle of soft drink. Best and most expensive seafood meal at Los Abrigos but worth it. Long walk, not for the faint hearted. Got cab back, very close. Cab to the airport 15 Euros each way. You really don't notice the planes overhead. Had the best sleep ever and very relaxing holiday.

Returned this week for a 5 day break_ superb value and quality. I'm not sure why Tapas lover said restaurant was closed, the restaurant you use for breakfast is open every day for dinner, and at 12 euros including a bottle of house wine and water is a lovely bargain, lots of fresh fish and meat you can select and chef will cook fresh for you.
Had a great sea view apartment, its spotlessly clean and you see cleaners around cleaning floors, etc all the time. Reception staff are efficient if not very smily and everything is sorted quickly. The pool is warm and clean, and no music or animation make it restful. If children want animation you can go to the next door hotel and use there pool and facilities. Its nice and quiet in the evening but you can walk just below the complex where several restaurants and bars are situated, or go to the bar/ entertainment in the next door hotel which has an adjoining path.
The apartments are big and fully equipped but you need take own wash cloths and tea towels. Microwave, cooker, fridge, freezer all there and air con is free, included. You pay a little to rent the room safe key and can get pool towels at reception for a 10 euro deposit which saves lugging a lot of towels in your suitcases.
The bathrooms are sizeable with separate bath and shower cubical but only soap and on the wall pump for shower gel so best take your own, could do with a little refurbishment but only complaint is no floor towel mat provided so floor gets wet and bit slippery when having shower.
Breakfast is fine for a daily start, lots of different cakes and breads ( But they do put a lot out at 7.30 so if you go at 9 check for freshness) , fresh fruit, cooked breakfast and will do pancakes for kids, also if you ask waiter will bring kids a nice two colour fruit juice with sugar rim. Fruit juice from machine not very nice, and shame fruit to have with yoghurt or cereal is all tinned but minor points.
Very close to the airport so a short taxi ride or best rent a car, some aircraft noise but soon get used to it and not problem at night. No car parking on site but along road a large public car park. The nearby marina is nice and has a couple of bars, one at far end where the yellow tourist submarine goes out. Each apartment has a big balcony lovely to sit out and enjoy the sea views and sun.
Its very quiet so sleep is good, but if you are looking for an action holiday with lots of discos and bars best not stay in Golf De Sur but go to Las Americas.
It was my second visit and wont be the last, looking forward to going back soon!

Room Tip: All have sea view but higher floors will have better view yet ground floor at pool side apartments...

We stayed here second week in March for 9 days the hotel seemed to be a little tired and in need of revamp, we only had breakfast which was ok but limited, we did try to book one of the restaurants but the seemed to be closed hence we had to venture out of the hotel
