Run by Compass Group, the restaurant at the municipal council offices in Nacka, near Nacka Forum shopping mall, is relatively recently opened and serves 3 purposes, apparently: the local council workers can bring their own food and heat it in microwave ovens, then sit and eat at the restaurant. People who haven't the time or inclination to bring a lunch-box to work can buy food at the restaurant but still sit and eat with their colleagues, and visitors or members of the public can just turn up and eat there, too. The "dish of the day" for 79 kr is your choice of fish, meat or vegetarian; but there is always a filling salad on offer, too - and a soup at 60 kr. The salad buffet isn't just the usual boring cucumber, tomato and lettuce - it has pickled beetroot, broccoli, runner bean, lentil mixes, sprouted seeds and home-made potato salad..content quite unpredictable from one day to the next, but filling and tasty! They seem to sell coffee/tea and sandwiches/buns/sweets during the daytime, too.
