Stayed at Paloma Pasha for two weeks at the end of June and have to agree with a previous review, I would rate this hotel as 4 star not 5, and for this reason I was a little disappointed at first but over the duration of the holiday I saw how hard the staff worked to maintain high standards throughout the hotel.
The food was very good, although for the first few days of our stay there were swarms of flies everywhere, which was most off putting at mealtimes as all salads and cold food was not covered. We did a tour of the kitchens with Martin in Guest relations and I have to say we were most impressed by the level of hygiene and the overall professionalism of the kitchen staff and management, its a shame something more couldn't be done to supress the flies in the dining room. Waiter service was generally very good, (special thanks to Tanju and Firat for their outstanding service), however it was not a good idea to leave it too late to eat (past 9pm) as they seemed to be clearing away and setting tables for breakfast. My biggest moan at dinner was the number of people wearing shorts, as far as I am concerned this is totally unacceptable when Thomas Cook allow 25kg luggage, more than enough to carry a couple of pairs of long trousers, whatever happened to dressing for dinner?
Bar service was very good, especially in the Piano bar where the service provided by Evren was exceptional, even at busy times he always remembered what you were drinking and his drinks were the best. Dined at the Italian and Turkish a la carte, both good food and service, preferred the Turkish, just a shame you couldn't visit more often. Do try the Patisserie, I'm not a cake or desert person but tea and cakes in the afternoon was just delightful and the cakes are amazing, only went a couple of times as there is only so much you can eat in a day!
Disappointed that the Jazz bar was not open more, in 2 weeks only saw it open once for a Karaoke night which appeared to be more like a children's disco, such a waste to have the facility and not use it.
We stayed in a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the village and I'm glad that we did, found this to be a more pleasant outlook than poolside where people insist on draping their beach towels over the balcony balustrade, which I could not understand as airers were attached to the balcony walls, as you can imagine to sit in the terrace bar at night looking at an array of yellow beach towels was not what you would say was a 5 star experience.
Overall the staff work very hard to make your stay a pleasant one, Emma and Martin in Guest Relations are very helpful (Martin does daily activities which we didn't find out about till the end of our stay), these include a sunset walk, trip to a mosque, kitchen tour etc. Special thanks to Angela the TC rep who is absolutely wonderful and works tirelessly to make sure everyone is happy, never met such a hard working devoted rep before, a credit to Thomas Cook.
Found Ozdere to be a lovely little village and the shopkeepers not at all pushy as in more touristy places, recommend the Bazaar 35 Souvenir Shop, the owner, Kerem is a lovely man who speaks a variety of languages, had to purchase extra baggage because we bought so much there!
Overall, the hotel was good, there were a few bits missing that I would expect from a 5 star. I would probably return if the price was right but do like to visit other places.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay with us in June of this year.
It ıs so pleasing to hear that you saw how hard the staff worked to maintain high standards throughout the hotel and that you found our waiters, Tanju and Firat, and barman Evren to be examples of our outstanding service. We also appreciate hearing your recommendations . Be assured we will pass them onto our management team.
On behalf of the Paloma Pasha team, I would like to thank you for visiting our hotel and we hope that we will have the chance to welcome you back as part of our Paloma family.
Warmest wishes from Özdere,
