“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2011

Wonderful is for Mrs Rosina Jones and Mr Jones as well as the beautiful house.
We stayed in the penthouse suite which was far too large for just the two of us. Lovely views over lake Bala.
Extremely clean. Smashing breakfast in the lovely dining room, again with views over the garden and down to the water.
Only stayed two nights as we were touring Wales, but this was by far the very very best place we stayed in.
I love chandeliers and these were fabulous, amazing.
Nothing was too much trouble for Rosina and we will go back and stay at Bryn Tegid if we go to that area again. Would make sure that we stayed here much longer.
Pity it is too far from East Sussex just to go back now and again for a treat.

Just back from a 2 night stay in a two room suite. Lovely views, clean carpets and bedding, and superb breakfasts.
The B and B is run by a couple with genuine warmth. Our two boys loved the grounds and were luck enough to be invited to ride the gentle pony.
Well located , an easy , delightful walk into Bala. We look forward to returning, I don't think you will find a better B and B in the county.

We have just had 3 nights at Bryn Tegid and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had family staying at the caravan park on the lake at Bala and it was an ideal base to be close to them. We had the Tegid Suite which was ideal for us and our toddler with plenty of room and fantastic views over the gardens and the lake. Mrs Jones couldn't do enough for us, and went out of her way to make sure our little girl was happy, even providing carrots to feed the horse! Lovely breakfast and very attentive to all the guests too, we'll definitely recommend to other members of the family,

We have just spent 6 days at this lovely guest house. This is our fifth visit and we are never disappointed, Rosina makes every stay a special one. It's so quiet here you could almost here a pin drop. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the homecooked breakfasts are second to none with plenty of choice. No little plastic tubs of butter and jam here , and definitely no cardboard toast (sliced by hand and extra thick with a choice of white or brown ). There is a very comfortable sitting room with an honesty bar where you can watch TV or read and the grounds are lovely for sitting on a sunny day. We would recommend the Eagle Inn in the next village for lovely home cooking with plenty of choice. By day it serves as the village shop for papers etc,. and also the Cwrt. This is a new restaurant that has opened in Bala since our previous visit and we found the food to be excellent. We usually stay in the Panorama room , which has a wonderful view of the lake. However we stayed in the Woodland room this time and this is equally as good with the added benefit of a bath as well as ensuite shower. There is lots to do in the area, try the Mawddach trail or Precipice walk for amazing views, Snowdon is also reachable from here. Thank you Rosina for another excellent holiday and we're already looking forward to next year .

Room Tip: The Panorama room has amazing views.

Saying it was a bitter cold weekend in January Mrs Jones gave us a really warm welcome. This is a real find for anyone wanting to enjoy one of the best B& B we have ever stayed at. Before we booked looked at coments from other visitors & Bryn Tegin lives up to all there comments. Would have no hesitation using this fantastic accomodation again.

Our experience of staying here was really magical. The hospitality was superb, with Rosina welcoming us sincerely and not only recommending places to eat out but then making reservations on our behalf. The house is splendid with chandeliers in most if not every room! The bed was superbly comfortable and vast. We stayed in the 'panorama suite' and had a gorgeous view of the lake and grounds. The breakfasts were incredibly tasty and really set us up for our kayaking and canoeing experience on Bala lake. Incredible value, would love to return and will be recommending Bryn Tegid to friends and family.
