Awful. We visited this place in June whilst on holiday in Wales. We fancied eating out and the only place we could find in Porthcawl was Rava Ristorante. The place looks fabulous, really nice decor and a glass floor overlooking the cellar. That was about the only nice thing about the place. The owner or waiter, dont know what , was as miserable as sin, We tried to make conversation about how nice the placel looked and asked how long he had been open his reply was sarcastically "since 6 o clock" . I said it looks new has it been done up, again his stern reply was"no we keep it clean" Sorry l spoke. Well it was down hill from there, the food was like something you would buy as a ready meal for one that you microwave. II had bruschetta it was like them frozen french bread pizzas. No salad dressing no flavour soggy bread that wasnt even brushetta. My husband had mussels and can you believe they were served from a jar, I'm guessing, with NO shells! Never in our life have we had mussels without the shells. Not once did the waiter come to do a table check and ask us if we were happy or did we want anything else. The main course was just as bad. I had Vesuvio spaghetti which was supposed to be HOT it WASNT. I dont think it even saw a chilli, no flavour again no herbs, poorly presented, again no table check. Suffice to say we didnt stay for any more microwaved treats, paid and left and will never ever return. Avoid this place, save your money. Its food is poor the service even poorer. Miserable unfriendly unwelcoming!
