“nice scenery - overrated desserts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Beautiful scenery and good food. Chocolate dessert overpriced, grab your dessert from the ice cream kiosk and enjoy it on the boardwalk ;)

“Good service at marina restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Visited the restaurant for the second time on 7th August 2012. Even if sitting at a table in the bistro section was offered the A´la Carte menu. Had perch fillets with a chantarell sauce for 28e.
The perch was butterfried -fresh and exellent. Accompanied by Aura beer and a Sandel Schnaps. Exellent choise. The service was good and efficient. This is a very good restaurant in the Finnish Archipelago situated at the local marina in the island of Nagu. Not cheap however prices reflect good quality of food. Can be recommended.

“Best in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

Whether it's food, location, or value, L'Escale was the tops. Clean with a very full atmosphere, the food was very tasty and the prices reasonable. We had fish stew, steak, meatballs, and steak on toast, plus their version of a Cobb salad. The bread/butter ala Sweden was amazing. Thus, the croutons in the salad were also memorable! Tender and tasty! Everything else was well cooked and we left very happy.

It's in the center of town so you can have a nice walk around after you are finished with your meal.

“Great Burgers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

After wandering around Nagu marina for an hour on a fairly busy Saturday, we stopped here, in the more casual part of the restaurant, for escargot, goat cheese salad, and huge cheeseburgers and fries. Everything was really excellent. Most people were having the archipelago buffet of salads and fish. They all looked happy and kept going back for more. But sometimes you just need a burger and fries. This is a good place to indulge yourself. I think they also have a more formal dining room for evening meals. The menu had interesting selections, including items for children. The food is a combination of Finnish and other cuisines.
