“A very nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

Its a small clean hotel, with an open parking. We got a sea front room on the 1st floor in the main
building. No elevator. The room was big -a kind of suite- which could accommodate a 3rd person. Very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. The bathroom was well equipped and clean. The staff was nice. 90 euro the double, without breakfast
Unfortunately, we did not dine in the restaurant which looked a very good one.

The rooms in the annex was simple but comfortable & spacious. I believe the rooms in the main hotel are more plush. The food in the restaurant is delicious! The seafood is always the best choice as its so fresh.

Our third floor seafront rooom was located in the Annex away from the hotel and had a comfortable king size bed with a balcony overlooking the sea.
There was also another room with twin beds and a balcony overlooking the town.
The seaview bathroom was large, clean and modern with a good shower and the toilet with a washbasin was separate from the bathroom.
This ‘suite’ would be ideal for a family but having no elevator means having to carry everything up three flights of stairs.
There are parking spots at the Annex property but one should consider parking at the main hotel.
A fridge and safe in the room would be useful additions as would a lock on the main entrance door. These would mean a jump in rating to Very Good.

Hi
very nice hotel next to the beach with a very French sea food restaurant ( best to be adventurous) all clean. Sea very tidal but can hear the waves crashing at certain times Liked the eccentric touch of going onto the beach promenade to access the room, idiosyncratic

Room Tip: ask for a sea view

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights while we experienced the normandy invasion. We had a top floor room with an ocean view that was fantastic! We did not eat in the restaurant as we found it cheaper to walk a few blocks into town. The beds, though a little soft, were good enough for us and the bathroom and shower was excellent. We caught the local bus to Bayeux for a Normancy tour, and had a little trouble getting back as, the buses stop running at 5:30pm. We walked along the beach to Bernieres-sur-Mer and they had a great walikng tour of the town. I would reccommend this place for anyone who wants a central location for the beaches.

We stayed in this cute seaside town two nights and this hotel was pretty good. The rooms were big and clean with sea views, and while nothing amazing were good enough. However the service and restaurant here were very good. The fish had literally just leapt out of the sea!

First off the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the Cabanas with a view of the Beach. This was great to see the ocean and here it as well. The breakfast was excellent as well we had supper in the Restaurant. The supper was plentiful, reasonably priced, and above all very tasty!!
The area is worth seeing especially if you are a Canadian as it gives you a picture of what the Normandy Juno beach landings was all about.
If you plan to go to this area, this is the place to stay!!
Thanks very much, I only wish is that we could have stayed longer

Room Tip: Ocean view if you can
