When I arrived in Barletta it appeared there were no hotels in the centre. The only accomodation, apart from one Best Western Hotel outside the centre, seemed to be B&B's. This place where I stayed is related to a jazz club nearby. On first sight the room that I stayed in, the Samuel Beckett room, seemed ok. But then when using it I found out that it was really a terrible room. The room is completely inside with no window and fresh air. There was a glas (matte) separation with the corridor and no curtain so the light from the corridor was in the room all night. But worse was that there was a wooden ceiling which was the floor of the room above. Every step in the room above was clearly heard and when the occupants got up at 5:00 am I was wide awake. For the breakfast you were sent to a cafe opposite the B&B where you only got one coffee and a croissant. The TV in the room was ok and the free WiFi internet had good speed but that was the only positive thing here. Better look around for another place or go to the Best Western.
