We went to Lake Garda with Leger Holidays and stayed at the Everest. Very comfortable rooms with TV which we never used. The shower head was diabolical but we coped and the hair dryer was hot but weak.
We went all inclusive so all the meals and some drinks were included even a packed lunch each day when we went on trips.
Due to us Brits not understanding the concept that once you sat at a table when you arrived you stayed on that table, there was some confusion the next evening over who ordered what meal! We were on a table for four and six meals had been ordered!
Some people complained about the food and the portion sizes but I was very satisfied with the quality and quantity. A couple of times the main meal was not as hot as it should be but I enjoyed them. People said they wanted real Italian cooking which is what they got but those who complained could never have been to Italy before or sampled real Italian cooking.
So the packed lunched were the same each day, a roll with cheese and ham or cheese and salami, a piece of fruit and a bottle of water. I must be strange because I enjoyed them. Besides there were plenty of places to buy snacks even in Venice.
We were out every day on trips but I suppose if you had to make your own way it could have been quite difficult.
There was some variation on which drinks were included and which were not so this caused a lot of confusion. Especially as the items changed on a daily basis except for coffee and tea which were never included.
Bearing in mind we were only sleeping, showering and eating at the hotel I felt it was adequate.
